Latao seeks migration convention
Industry-Nations invited to find solution

The higher life standards a country has to offer, the bigger is the problem of (illegal) migrations and foreign infiltration.

According to the Atlantian Oceania Regional Council (OCC: NSEconomy) the countries mostly affected by the problems of migrations are Commerce Heights, Nova Roma, Bedistan, Latao-Nyssa, Pacitalia, Imminent Implosion, Sarzonia, Starblaydia and Falcania.

Latao-Nyssa therefore seeks an international convention to harmonize migration law. We have created the following proposal which we submit to all nations for discussion:

CODE

1. This charter defines minimum standards for migration and naturalization that shall become a base for national law on said subjects.

2. The nations increase their border patrol activities; source countries shall provide actions to prevent mass-emigration and target countries shall provide actions to prevent illegal mass-migration.

3. The nations accept to take emigrants back into their country of origin, if they are not legally residing in another state.

4. The target-states support the source-state in creating better living standards to finally prevent emigration. In the event of non-cooperation as defined by article 3, the target-states may pronounce sanctions against the nations in question.

5. The nations may define further regulations regarding immigration qualification and conditions, such as demanding criminal record information from the migrants.

6. The nations autonomously define naturalization processes for their jurisdiction.

7. This charter does not apply for groups of individuals that were explicitly invited by a country, such as workers with specific qualifications, students and asylum seekers recognized by the target sate.

We thank the international community for its participation.
