The federal government of the Allied States has become concerned at the stability of the region that we inhabit, an as such will be increasing our involvement in regional affairs. As such, we are interested in attending these roundtable talks held in Luciaria. We should note that we have begun to prepare wargame scenarios to finally determine AORDO chiefs and to ensure general preparedness of all Allied States and AORDO forces, to be proposed in the next week.

We are pleased to welcome the delegation of the Allied States of Lowland Clans in Latao & Nyssa. As far I know, this is the first time ever of direct contacts between Latao-Nyssa and the Allied States (as you know, the Wattenwil round table is a private NGO initiative). With the Allied States we have a strong partner joining the table which adds another dimension of grandness to our event – we hope you had a good flight and you shall have a nice stay here at Venus & Appallon, Luciaria’s first address.
One side note: Every agreement offered by the governmental representatives of Latao & Nyssa is open to the Allied States as well, in case they wish to join it, the exact contents are to be published soon.
As for AORDO-issues, NEC-Council Keckeis (Defense Secretary) said, that this question was not discussed so far. Latao’s membership was suspended during the second AO-War, the current situation is unclear. After the harsh rejection of Nyssa’s application to the SDL and the general lack of support by other states (except Falcania) the AORDO-question has never brought up to the National Executive Committee again since the war. |

The delegation of the Allied States composed of the Secretary of the Armed Forces, Major General Allan Rickman, Secretary of State John Loppard and Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Jozef Tzienvski, as well as an entourage of Allied States press, economic and defense advisors. A brief statement was passed on to through press representative on the trip, Jose de Poledo.
"Our delegation here has the full authority of the Alliance behind it. Our chief goal here is to ensure regional stability, but the Allied States will not hesitate to use as much military force as required to eliminate that threat." |

The question thrown into the round is "What would Latao & Nyssa's return to the AORDO mean to the international community, especially the current members of the alliance ? - Once it's military is fully rebuilt and re-armed, under terms of the international community and/or the former occupation powers ?" |

OOC: Here's a basic description of what the members of my delegation look like. I know it's probably unecessary, but I like to give people at least a little bit of a visual image to work with, when they are imagining the RP.
Danielle Uram stands at five feet nine inches, has long blonde hair that touches down to her shoulders, blue eyes, and a fairly well toned body. She is wearing a navy blue skirt with a matching business jacket, underneath which is a white blouse. Her shoes are a black leather high heels and she wears gold-rimmed glasses. From the looks of things she appears to be in about her early to mid-thirties.
Andrew Sarish is an elderly gentleman, standing at five foot three, with dark brown eyes and white hair that has all but evaporated from his head. He is wearing khaki pants, a light brown suit jacket, with white shirt underneath, and sports some almost comically thick reading glasses that he keeps perched on his forehead most of the time.
Philip Amar is six foot two, brown hair that is starting to grey on the sides, green eyes, and has a body that is starting to show the effects of aging as his skin starts to sag and wrinkle in areas. He has a goatee which he keeps neatly trimmed all the time, and is wearing a nice black-silk shirt with a matching black pair of dress pants and shoes.
Tyler Yarit is the youngest looking of the group. He stands at six foot three, has reddish coloered hair with brown eyes, and a muscular physique. He is currently wearing a standard issue military dress uniform that bears the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel on the shoulders.
The Khazaronian delegation arrived at their destination. Both Minister Uram and Sub-Minister Yarit seemed to be the most tense of the group. One could hardly blame them, what with the situation in Sarzonia and all. Minister Uram carried with her a folder that seemed to chuck filled with various documents and papers, while Sub-Minister Yarit held with him a black briefcase handcuffed to his wrist. Inside where contained the various documents and things needed for Khazaron's discussion in perhaps helping the Latins to re-build their defenses to a point where they could at least maintain the peace. |

The Lamonians only had a short walk from their hotel to the doors of the meeting place, and they came in slightly behind the Khazaronians. When they were seating at the negotiating table, the Lamonians exchanged polite banter with the Khazaronians, waiting for the show to get on the road. |
