Introduction
Background: Commerce Heights became one of the first major powers in Paripana after the fall of the Boopsylvanian Empire (57 BCE). After the Paripanan War (26 Apr 54 BCE), Commerce Heights spent the next half-century slowly expanding, imperialistically carving territories out of fallen nations. Commerce Heights spearheaded the revolt against Bætica that caused the move from Paripana to Terranordalis (17 BCE). After the resignation of Chan Mrzigod as Prime Minister (9 BCE), government rule became progressively more authoritarian, leading to the Capitalizt Revolution in 0 CE. As well as greatly improving the freedom and quality of life of the Capitalizt people, the new government gave a great deal of autonomy to the major foreign cultures within the nation. Over the last 30 years, the nation’s economy has been stagnant, but the move to Atlantian Oceania (61 CE) is expected to change that.
