It was a tense time. The massive fleet of transports moved forward at the highest possible speed, however, this was low as several vessels had to be towed, their engines having given out, or been rendered inoperable due to battle damage. Malnuitrition, poor sanitation, and overcrowing had become a serious problem, numerous vessels having had to been abandoned. Fortunately, the end was in sight. Their sanctuary, the waters of Sarzonia, were ahead. Sarzonia had sent out a group of anti-air craft destoyers to defend the fleet from the constant harrasment of the Inter-Regional "Peace" Conference of the RIA's long range fighter bombers. The attacks had subsided for several days, and the civilians aboard the transports prayed they had finally eluded their grasp. 12 minutes away from the rendevous point with the destroyer group and safety at last, long range radar on the last remaining AWACS plane from the only remaining carrier, a Publius-class battle carrier built by Portland Iron Works, warned of incoming fighter/bombers. The only 2 ships left in the once proud Rylossian navy readied what was left of their weapons. They were the only survivors of the delaying attack made by the entire Rylossian navy. The survivors had limped back, the Publius-battlecarrier and a Calypso-class dreadnought. The numerous machinegun emplacements hastily welded onto some of the less damaged transports were quickly manned, though these were more for the morale of the civilians than defense. The attackers came into view, and the fleet opened fire. The sheer amount of tracer rounds being fired in various directions made the scene appear to be an upside down rainstorm in a strong wind, where the rain drops are light. Various emplacements tracked numerous fighters, not attempting to destroy, just keeping them from attacking until they rendevoused with the destroyer group sent by Sarzonia. As ammunition stores grew low, guns began clicking empty. Gunners dropped to their needs, feeling physically struck down with the need to pray for their loved ones, doing the last thing they could to protect them. Those who were armed, staggered to their feet and began firing at the jet bombers with handguns, feeling the need to do something. At last, the guns of the remaining 'navy' fell silent, having no more rounds to fire. All who saw closed their eyes and prayed, bracing themselves for the explosions they knew to be imminent. They did come, and forcefully, knocking down many on the decks of the ship. All was quiet for a while, then a brave soul opened his eyes, and saw not the face of God, but a group of destroyer's, bearing the proud flag of SARZONIA!
3 days later: After the sick and wounded had been evacuated to Sarzonian hospitals, the remaining goverment of Ryloss submitted a formal request for asylum and the right to colonize the area of land just northeast of Sarzonia.
(OOC: How's that? First real NS RP I've done where I care about what the reader's think. It's late, and not very good, so I'll clean it up tomorrow and add a section where the refugees begin rebuilding.) |

My people of Bazarain would like to relocate to your region. Most probably the small island located south of Termaria. Please allow me the time to explain a little about our little country and people.

The Kingdom of Bazarain

The Kingdom is split into 3 main states. The States of Bearal, Keshimen and Topolimen.
The State of Bearel has a very mountainous landscape, with most of it forested. It is dotted with little hamlets and it is here the casle of the King Of Bazarain is found. The State of Keshimen is flat and is covered in mostly farmland, but with cities and coastal resorts on the edges at the gorgeous sandy beaches.
The last State of Topolimen is the industrial power house of the country where most of the big cities are. The main Airport and Docks are in this area.

4% Nantuk
2% Replish
1% Yanak
Language
Main Langauge: Bazarainian

Other Dialects: Plinish, Nantuk, Replish and Yanak.

Supreme Court with judges appointed by the privy council. Provincial court Judges elected. Local court Judges elected. Supreme Court Judges have the right to disallow the election of provincial judges.
Common and political law created by the Senate and enacted through the executive branch.
