It simply means I voted for it. I think he is, though, on account of having a 5-0 vote in a 6-nation alliance to leave.

The Lamonian representitive spoke: "The Free Republic would like to see Sarzonia's striking power included in the FLMS. It would help us to have a military force with which we can counter the SAAS. Of course, we would also like to see Ryloss and The Eagle's Nest in the FLMS as well."

Sarzonia's Deputy Senior Vice President for External Affairs, Grant Haffner, sent the following message to the FLMS:

"Sarzonia will only consider membership in the FLMS if Ryloss were admitted along with us. Otherwise, I can all but guarantee that President Sarzo will veto any approval vote in the House of Delegates.

"I also note that we have yet to have our negotiations with Chacor regarding the disputed territories. Sarzonia will NOT join the FLMS while that issue remains unresolved."

After hearing the Chacorian representitive's speach, and the Sarzonian message, Lewis looked at the Chacorian delegate, and said; "The Free Republic understands that your opposition to Ryloss joining is based on the fact that Ryloss holds Chacorians as POWs. However, we feel that this can be solved by diplomatic means. I'm sure that we could use the Regional Council to solve all of the problems arising from this dispute. Once the dispute is solved, will Chacor then have any problems with admitting Ryloss into the FLMS?"

Since Latao is in state of war with several mighty opponents, opposition politicians ask, if there's any possibility for the Confederacy to rejoin FLMS and AORDO when the current state is annihilated and there's a new government ?

The opposition is sure, that this war can not be won; "Latao against the world" this can't come out good. Help us to free Latao from this aggressive destructing government...

Druida would currently oppose Latao from being readmitted into the Federation of Like Minded States, on the basis that the current government there is in no way like minded to the one in Druida.

However, Druida would support an opposition uprising in the state, and would offer the support of it's own revolutionary forces. Though considering the Druidan Revolution was 20 years ago, they might be getting on a bit.

OOC: The Free Republic has decided that the time has come for the FLMS to take a stand on the Latao issue.

IC: "Gentelmen," the Lamonian FLMS President states, "As you can see from our situation map presently coming up on the main screen, Latao's defenses are practically non-exsistant. They have few ground forces remaining, as well as some Lamonian nuclear weapons that are set to self destruct without setting off the warheads; so as to destroy the nukes. We have an opportunity to give the SAAS a world class bloody nose if we can take Omsec out of the picture and give the Latins a government to rally around. This could also include alliance military vehicles and supplies being sent to Latao if agreed by the council. An armed insurgency supported by the FLMS would drain SAAS troops, weapons, and most importantly, morale. Especially if the insurgency lasts a long time. However, we have a very limited window of opportunity in which to do this. I urge the council to vote in favor of proposition 3."

The proposition was passed around to the Alliance Council.
