Latao has updated its official World Factbook Entry at Wikipedia.
We're proud to announce, that the NEC of Latao could add the definition of the electoral system as well as more details about the country's internal organization, based on the votings of January 2005.
The federal constitution has been changed, to enable two-chamber parliaments on all administrative levels of the nation (Confederacy, Districts, Municipalities&Regions).
With these reforms, Latao offers more democracy and more power to the people, which will result in a boost of living quality for all citizen and send positive signals to our great economy.

Latao has requested to join AORDO
The Confederacy of Latao has sent a telegram (forum thread post) to the officials at AORDO headquarters, asking to join the Atlantian Oceania Regional Defence Organisation.
As one of the strongest economy-Nation, Latao feels the need of improving its security and securing its freedom and and its interessted by the hlep of a multinational armed organization.
Our policy is targeted on securing freedom, democracy and economoic standards. |

Latao adjusts rules for border protection
After consulting our neighbor countries, the Confederacy of Latao applies new rules that affect how its international state borders are being secured. The most significant change is, that private-run corporations are now allowed to support the official border patrol personnel. With this change, the NEC expects significant money savings each year.
Next planned step is to aggravate the laws that define how and how can enter Latao. With this upcomming installation of stronger migration laws, the Latao NEC accomplishes with an old demand of the right wing of the Latao Parliament. |

Government holds extraordinary Meeting on nuclear Weapons
The leaders of Latao have assembled for an extraordinary meeting related to talks on the affair, the press calls 'the Bomb-Thing'. Members of the NEC and the Parliament as well as high ranked Generals of the army are discussing the latest developments in Atlantian Oceania and decide the next steps. An official statement from the NEC-President Bieri is expected for this weekend, just after the internal talks. |

Direct Democracy in Latao
The Confederacy of Latao has changed its constitution. We are proud to announce that the level democracy is now enhanced in our country. Citizens and members of the parliament may now request polls for changes in the constitution and laws by collecting signatures resp. endorsements.

Latao is proud to present great financial data once again. With a GDP per Capita of $44,245.76, Latao belongs to the top three global players in Atlantian Oceania.
The Key Capital Market Data shows, that with only 1/3 of the size of its hardest rivals in the international competition, Latao’s economy runs highly effective. No country in the region works more efficient than Latao.

International Embassies reorganized
The Latao Ministry of foreign Affairs has reoganized its embassy strategy in order to optimize costs, spent for activities in abroad.
The Confederacy of Latao currently operates 8 embassies in the region of Atlantian Oceania and a political-observer chamber at the UN Head Quarter.

Reformations on their Way
The Confederacy of Latao is currently updating its official Factbook in Wikipedia, which also builds the base for our constitutional and cultural legals. The Latao Book of Facts will be reorganized and some laws and constitutional articles will be changed to better fit the needs of the society in the 21st century. |

Reformations in Migration & Travelling
Latao reacts to the desideratums of the international community by reforming its policies of migration and state-entry.
Government and parliament have worked out new rules without the controversal entry-deposits regarding these subjects, which will be presented to the allied partners as soon as the current negotiations in the FLMS have passed by. |
