Description: The UN should recognize that all people are created equal. The matter of race, sex, religion or sexual preference should not make anyone less equal. These are inalienable rights of all UN nation citizens.
ARTICLE I- No one race or culture is better than another.
ARTICLE II- Males and Females should be treated as equals. Whether it be in the workplace or at home.
ARTICLE III- Not a single religion or belief is better or more right than another.
ARTICLE IV- One should have the right to express their love for a member of the same sex.

I should have voted against this resolution, not because im a homophobe, but because it is extremely retarded. I wish we had the power to veto such resolutions, because the United Nations should have no say in how a country is run. People must understand that such traditions and religions don't allow such things don't pass, and in a real group of people not of the United States and european nations would not allow such a resolution to even reach the voting table. This completely disrespects any minority nations right to do things as they wish, and it is a horrible thing. Nothing pisses me off more than the UN on this game....god have mercy. |
