Just as a statement, Allemenschen will be taking over the territories of Tempalhiyon, since I never really could find a good use for the country.
But Allemenschen will be a completely different set-up. 
(FYI, this is the character that used to be Tempalhiyon, who still is Han). |

Hi y'all.
I’m looking for a nice home for my shiny new(ish) nation and with it being based as a sprawling, unmanageable mass (mess?) of a country I’m thinking area 14 looks very inviting. As it’s t’up north in the cold and . . . well . . . a bit on the large side.
Of course it might be a bit too much on the large side for an opening request. So if it does need to be scaled down I’d ask for the western half comprising the big island just off the coast of Maraque, the bit of land attached to Maraque and, if you’re all feeling really benevolent, those three little islands just off the north coast.
Introductory RP and hopefully a nice factbook to come between now and the weekend . . . |

The Bear Islands could be at #7, if that's okay with the region's older members, but I'd really see them as being another group of islands -- maybe a bit larger, and certainly further out to the north-west -- instead. Hr'rmm, maybe they could have started out there but now be expanding into #7 (or #4? or even #16?) and that's how & where 'first contact' was made?
In any case, it looks as though Sorthern Northland would be our nearest neighbours and probably the nation here with which we originally made contact...

My country is the result of a civil war, so it needs to be a smaller landmass right next to a bigger one; it's ruled by a collective of its citizens, so it needs to be small; and its biggest city is Oceanview, which has already been established in RP to be on its west coast, so it needs to have westward access to an ocean.
The nations that seem to fit these criteria are:
11 - Breakaway region from Capitalizt SLANI
16 - Breakaway from Sorthern Northland
1 - Breakaway from Starblaydia
21 - Breakaway from 17

You gotta admit, it makes some sense. Starblaydia is a huge dictatorship; we're a tiny left-wing utopia obsessed with democracy.
But I haven't thought it out or anything, it's not like I actively want to be a breakaway from Starblaydia in a positive sense, it's just that I saw it as a possibility on the map and offered it up in the thread. |

You could take up some land from #12 - I'm pretty certain that land belonged to someone at sometime, and you can have your breakaway RP-style still completely valid. |

I'd be down with that. I could take a chunk out of northwestern #12. The only problem is that my largest city, Oceanview, would actually be facing something more like a sea than an ocean. Maybe I could take a western chunk of #17. |
