An exquisitly-dressed man bowed before the Imperatrix.
"Your majesty? You called upon myself?"
"Yes, Admiral. You have already succeeded upon colonizing Marcica in The Lexicon, Rovrofth in The East Pacific, and Rovrith in Great Britain and Ireland. I need you to travel to Atlantian Oceania and establish another here." The Imperatrix said, pointing to #4 on a chart of the region.
"Yes, your bidding is my doing, Your Aristocratic Imperial Majesty."
The next day the Admiral called upon his crew to take him to the ship Otto, affectionately named after himself.

Somewhere near Pacitalia, 1606 Myrorian Common Era
The man in the crow's nest called to the Helmsman.
"Land, straight ahead!"
The helmsman shouted to a man at the cannon.
"Tell the admiral we're approaching land, quickly!"
"Yes, sir."
OOC: The Imperatrix is our equivalent of Empress. And, our culture is in The Age of Enlightenment, so that accounts for the dating and sailing ship. Ok, no horizontal rules...

Patriarch James Khara was sitting quietly in his spacious bedroom at the Khazaronian Compound in Kafra, at the SDL headquarters. He was just getting ready for a quick bite to eat before the latest alliance meeting when Danielle Uram, his Minister of Foreign Affairs, walked in. Looking up from his stake, he noticed she had a look on her face like she wanted to say something. Placing his fork back down on the plate, on which still hung a slight piece of stake, he let out a sigh and folded his hands.
"Alright, what is that couldn't wait until I'm down with my meal?" he said with more than a bit of irritation in his voice.
She smiled, taking a seat next to him. "Nothing really, I was just coming to inform you that a new nation, one that goes by the name of Quirrith, has set about establishing a colony in the region. Although from what our initial intel is saying, they are actually a colony of a greater empire."
Khara nodded, a bit more interested than when the conversation began. "Alright. Any reason we may need to be concerned about them?"
Danielle shoke her head. "Not so far. They seem to be moving to an uninhabited piece of land to colonize it. No agression against anyone so far."
Khara let out a sigh of relief this time. "Good, the last thing we need is yet another damn situation to up the level of tension in the region. Send the colonists a nice friendly welcome from the Dominion."
Danielle nodded and departed to go write the letter.

On behalf of the Dominion, and her Patriarch, James Khara, I would like to offer you an embassy in Archon City, in the hopes that we may get to know one another better, and in doing so create a better life for both of our peoples.
It has come to our attention that you also are the colony of yet a greater nation, and this intrigues us some. We would be interested in learning more about your parent nation as well.
