OOC: This takes place after Armanso Gomez's defection to Krytenia.
Dominique Domasca looked over the statement released by the Hypocrians after Drax's death. Something didn't seem...right. She put the statement on the table in front of her, and disappeared into a back room. She switched on the light.
The room was lit in a violetesque glow. The walls were adorned with blown-up photos of the late Tiberius Starblayde; various effects and gfts, tokens of meetings of Starblaydia and Krytenia, were on shelves around the room. She picked up a videotape, and left the room, switching the light back off.
She flicked the videotape on; it was coverage of Tiberius' funeral. She looked at Drax on the screen; funny, he didn't look ill...
Then she spotted something she'd never noticed before. The coverage flicked to the balcony; Drax walked back through a door, with Viannor following a beat later. Watching the tape, she noticed that Drax did not return. Her mind, overcome with grief and paranoia, decided; Viannor had something to do with this.

Mere hours later, television coverage was interrupted for a special announcement. Domasca flicked onto the screen, behind a podium.
"It has been decided today that effective from midnight tonight, all trade, communication, and travel links between the United Provinces of Krytenia and the Protectorate of Starblaydia will cease, cutting all ties including immigration.
"An exception shall be made for the Starblaydis currently in Krytenia on temporary visas, including their national football team; they will be allowed to return home once their visas expire." |

"That -explicitive removed-ing bitch!" Viannor clenched her fists and cursed at the large screen mounted in the wall, "I'll kill her!"
The screen cracked and shattered into a thousand pieces that scattered on the carpeted floor below. Her sheer willpower had broken the screen, telekinesis in full effect, flowing supernaturally from her mind. Domasca's image on the TV was gone, though everyone else in the room asked themselves just what had Viannor thrown at the screen to break it?
"Communications links cut, eh? That'll work just fine when I glass those Krytie bastards!" Viannor stopped herself for a moment, half-wondering if somewhere her mind had activated an ICBM or Godrod. Nothing happened, so evidently not. She turned to her council. "Get every single one of those freaks out of my country. Every single citizen, diplomat, footballer and any other occupation out of my country. At gunpoint if you have to. If they only have a Krytenian passport, they're not welcome here.
"All trade with Krytenia is cut off, too. If a Liga Starblaydia club trades with a KFA one then there will be sanctions, I'm having nothing Krytenian-made in this country. No cars, no electronics, no nothing. As of now the only time they exist will be in our gunsights, through our satellite feeds and in reports from our spies. They will be crushed soon enough.
"Announce the acceptable bull-explicitive removed- to the region, I'm going back to my castle." |

Dominique watched and listened to the Starblaydi news announcement (being watched through a Bedistani cable channel) and nodded sagely.
"We've got to her. We have got to her!" She afforded herself a smile, and walked into the adjacent room to brief her Naval Chief of Staff, an admiral in his mid-fifties.
"Admiral Jacobsen, we should be wary of a possible offensive from Starblaydia. We've got COPS trained on Starblaydi naval ports; we need ships patrolling the local waters. It is imperative we negate any possible offensive action.
We don't want Starblaydia turned into rubble; then again, we don't want Everton City looking like that either."
She walked back into her ante-chamber and switched the videowall screen back on.
"Ahh, Krytenia-Starblaydia! COME ON YOU ACES!" |
