Federation of Hiiraan
The Federation would like to announce a 3 step Missile test that will occur in the morning hours of tomorrow. there will be about 15 missiles fired, all class 3 Shahab 4 continental missiles. Hiiraan will test the durability, and flight dynamics of the missiles which have a maximum range of 2286km.
Hiiraan will analyze the questions concerning the status of the development of the Shahab-4 missile and report back to any intrested parties to this test or any concerned parties in a apporopiate timeframe. The Shahab-4 is projected to include improved guidance components, a two stage version would have a range of 2,000-2,200 kilometers while the three stages Shahab-4 could potentially have a range of 2,672-2,896 kilometers range with a warhead weight on the order of 1,000-760 kilograms. The Shahab-4 would be capable of hitting targets as far away as Deep South AO.
this test is designed to help the development of Shahab 5 and 6. The Shahab-5 also known Kosar is expected to have a range of 3,500-3,750 and 4,000-4,300 kilometers with a 1,000-750 kilogram warhead. Kosar means-Stream of eternal life in paradise. The Shahab 5 Prototype has passed several tests and is expected to come into testing parameters late this year. The Shahab-6 meanwhile is expected to have a range of 5,470-5,500 and 5,632-6,200 kilometers with a 1,000-750-500 kilogram warhead. This range capability will depend on the number of stages used in the launch vehicle and their performance.
Alongside testing the Shahab 4 system, Hiiraan will also test its Missile early warning capabilities by testing the redesigned Kara 2 Early Warning system. The Kara 2 Early Warning System, known as Kara 2 EWS will be depoloyed alongside the the missile tests.The Kara 2 radars can distinguish the size of an attack, confirm the warning from the satellite and over-the-horizon radar systems, and provide target-tracking data in support of antiballistic missile (ABM) deployments.
