1) Can I declare myself a colonial power now?
2) Can I take over an adjacent territory without it necessarily becoming an extension of mine? I mean, it stays a seperate territory. ie,if it is attack, it is not my actual nation being attacked, but just that territory(block), like a colony.
3) How does my economyapply to developping in AO?
How much money do I have or generate?
How is that calculated exactly?
4) Are nations limited to historical weapons and vessels?or can we research and invest in theoretical designs and concepts?

2) well even as a colony normally people protect it. Though even as main territory if someone attacks you can always surrender a bit of it. If you want it completely as a separate entity then you would create a puppet nation but I don't think it would be necessary.
3) guidelines on all this is in the first post of this topic. You have an excellent economy so you can operating in the guidelines quite well but you would be expected to come up with some RP for expanding, even if its a short about fighting off the primitive natives or something or about annexing a small colony or something.
4) My personal opinion is not to go too far into the future stuff as it gets silly but as long as its not a nation the size of Luxembourg developing the death star, I think its fine.
