Mitsune Konno Transport survey has revealed just how hard it is to travel nation to nation
sure travelling by air in our region is superb but what about short distances
The MK transport survey results has shown that a typical route from NW tilan to SE Tilan takes 5 1/2 hours but if Tilan had improved journey routes then the time it takes to get to A-B would be slashed by an hour and 3/4
this isnt just Tilan or 1 or 2 other nations this is the whole region and while some countries have great national transportation links into neighbouring countries are very poor
this also includes sea, rail and river crossing routes as well as underground
routes need great improving
that is why i am proposing THe AO Transport project this will greatly improve transportation routes
i will inform more on the situation as new questions arise

Posted by: Vilita Mar 19 2004, 02:42 PM
Why do you think Vilita want's to aquire the Northern Isle in the Crystilakere Channel from MK? We look to build an environmentally supportive transportation system from the Western to the Eastern Sector of the Region and use that island as a hub

Posted by: Tachbe Mar 19 2004, 03:04 PM
If we list all large bridging projects like creating a bridge across a streach or water or an underground tunnel then link it in to a regional transport network of motorways and railways we can mark on the map.

Posted by: Tachbe Mar 19 2004, 03:06 PM
In addtion can people list their capital city and any other major cities of areas that need to be connected

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 19 2004, 03:09 PM
i agree with this idea and it has my full approval
Villita i will get back to you as soon as i can though at the moment a very rough idea would be either a mixture of tunnels underwater railways as of yet im still thinking of all possible ideas (and considering the Environment is greatly involved i will need to be careful with every descesion that is made)

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 19 2004, 03:19 PM
on another note depending on the nations terrain will determine what methods of transport etc. are used

Posted by: Tachbe Mar 19 2004, 03:25 PM
It some come in phases I think. And best to avoid un-populated regions, if nessesery I suggest minimal colonial expansion of some countries to gain a link. It is possible to fully link every nation like thi sapart from Isodorria and Nelson isle so I suggest any link to them be in the final phases. In the SW the unlcaimed area of Aland will be reclaimed by Tachbe and I suggest the lower SW island be fully colonised. As a result the full area of the SW will be occupied ensuring clean links between nations. I will try to make it simple for this project to be compleated through a few border extensions. And do remeber the enourmouse cost of all of thi saswell as the enviroment.

Tachbes Internal Links will be pan-Atlanti crossing network and bridges across the straights either side of Tachbe.

(Variable terrain is one variable o focurse but one thing we need is a single rail running, eventaly, full circle)

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 19 2004, 03:33 PM
the SW 's solution would be best if were underwater tunnels and increased funding for ferry services , due to the many islands tunnels are the best considering the immense beauty of the area and bridges should be used where the distances between the two pionts are reasonable (although there may be exceptions)

Posted by: Vilita Mar 19 2004, 03:35 PM
Would the implications of underwater tunnels be grave to the ocean life in the immediate region?

Posted by: Tachbe Mar 19 2004, 03:45 PM
It depends if its submerged or dug under the rock.

The primary concern would be getting a line from the landmass to MK mainland, I suggets yo ulook at the map which i have updated, I have improved it slightly to get links, it may take some time to update here properly but once it does tell me if there is anything you object to.

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 19 2004, 03:47 PM
It doesnt matter how you look at it whenever you are going to build you are always sacrificing bits of the environment that is why we are going to keep Environmental damage to the upmost minimal
And yes it will probably damage the marine life but however building such structures will be built avoiding such sensetive areas as coral reefs
although marine areas around windywater have become so damaged due to pollution that there is no way marine life canrecover
however the AO transport project is not to build wasteful roads that go off into nowhere it is to provide the quickest way to a-b as conviently as possible whether it be for the commuters or the environmentalists

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 19 2004, 03:51 PM
also to note areas noyiced for their beauty and/or national parks will have at the upmost maximum of 3 roads improvements (not to the point of running over evey bit of natiuonal park mind you...)or be avoide compltely as the Ntnl parks transport is satisfactory.

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 19 2004, 04:15 PM
well i have no problems with that
the best place to build a tunnel would be to build it at the most north easterly point (the bit sticking out into the mitsune sea with an island on its southern coast) and in between the MK mainland and the land that windywater has colonized 1/3 of there is an island we can build rail road s through it and the island is quite close to the actual AO land mass so we can build a bridge.
Other areas of the region also need to be taken into account

Posted by: Vilita Mar 19 2004, 04:18 PM
Vilita reminds said nations that roadways CAN be built without sacrificing environmental BEAUTY, and we are working daily on technology to further these ideas, it is the habitatual stability that is at the formost of the issues at hand

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 19 2004, 04:22 PM
* i meant rail ways AND roads

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 19 2004, 04:24 PM
the bridge that was proposed is now diectly linked to windywater smile.gif

Posted by: Tachbe Mar 19 2004, 04:27 PM
I have drawn our networks inside Tachbe and I will put that up soon.

So how does with sound, A rail/road comes fown from Aland through the 3 natiosn in some order, then from Windywaters mainland to its small off colony at the most westernly point via bridge. The line then comes along the southan shore to the most easternly point and we have a bridge gooing to the msall island then MK mainland as bridges.
If Windywater would liek to apporve the use of his territory and if I could ahve a few cities where these link up to I can mark them out and we can se ehow that goes

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 19 2004, 04:33 PM
i have put wheremy cities are on the regional map topic etc.

Posted by: Tachbe Mar 19 2004, 04:36 PM
Do you want all 3 to be connected in a triangular formation or the western two having seperate lines going to them or what?

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 19 2004, 04:38 PM
the 1st option although the roads etc. shouldnt be completly straight (MK IS quite hilly)

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 19 2004, 04:46 PM
What are Tachbe's and Villitas transport proposals
also be sure to inform other nations e.g Nedila of what is going on.

Posted by: Tachbe Mar 19 2004, 04:47 PM
Ok, if yo ulook at the map you will see the way it is presented. Path is already open for crossing the eastern channel amd linking the east to the west. IF all the links are compleat we can get a line from MK to C'Y'

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 19 2004, 05:06 PM
C 'y'????

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 19 2004, 05:07 PM
N.V.M!!!!

Posted by: Tachbe Mar 19 2004, 05:08 PM
Crystilakere

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 19 2004, 05:16 PM
i see

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 20 2004, 06:43 AM
As a result All the new nations and those who are not linked should be told about this project asap

Posted by: Tachbe Mar 20 2004, 01:56 PM
I suggest once the MK-Windywater Bridge is agreed there should be a Windywater-Nedlia connection.

Also There is agreement on Tachbe-Vilita connections (See map) and we think across C' channel we need a bridge or tunnel streachign fromt he main land to Mk's islands (one then the other) then Vilitas eastern lands.
Also A bridge from my southan port in that area to C's top peninsular

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 20 2004, 02:03 PM
Also if a nation decides that a bridge or tunnel wouldnt be a good idea then there is always the new ferry service links.

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 20 2004, 02:06 PM
Mitsune Konno's Top Transport financer is willing to help fund where funding is needed

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 20 2004, 02:12 PM
the link to windywater is best if it were a tunnel and and a bridge.
Ferr servicing would despite needing funding would be alot cheaper especially compared to the costs of tunnels and bridges so this method should be used if neccasary (e.g excessive amount of islands, gap between two points is TOO great.)

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 20 2004, 02:44 PM
MK also suggests a ferry service from Tabla to the island where Villita has its capital.

Posted by: Tachbe Mar 20 2004, 03:50 PM
Personally I am not a fan of ferrys, it takes too long. MK's trips to the smaller islands ferrys would be cost effective and over large spands, atleast now, ferrys would be best but the links from MK's mainland to the primary landmass we can stick bridges in, no need to tunnels there.

Tachbe-Vilita Ferry connectiosn will also be considered. Also if Nedlia would liek a ferry connection with Tabla that would be welcome as well as any other nation.

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 20 2004, 04:06 PM
while we're on the topic of ferries and that they can be slow
With some help of some nations in the region we could build new faster ferries
however if approved the ferries will only start off in the most used ferry routes

Posted by: Tachbe Mar 20 2004, 04:10 PM
But you have the port time, the loading ti9me, the refuling time, the travel time, the off load time and the refualing time. EVen fi they travvel faster you still have the delay of loading them, if you had a rail line its non stop. A single rout, that sfine but intergrated it wont work.

Posted by: Tachbe Mar 20 2004, 04:16 PM
I have just been talking with Vilita, We are goin to mark airports ont he map and start a project to build a supersonic plane. Whos in?

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 20 2004, 04:25 PM
hmm i see your point
but are you saying that trains dont have their problems?
anyway im schumpt into the ferry idea but my only idea at the moment is that you have a strict schedule for loading etc.
(the same might be considered for special rail express lines like the shinkansen trains/bullet trains in Japan)

Posted by: Tachbe Mar 20 2004, 04:27 PM
trains have problems, but only if somthing goes wrong. Ferrys are always slow.

Posted by: Vilita Mar 20 2004, 04:29 PM
the point is, boats dont go fast smile.gif

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 20 2004, 04:31 PM
not if you have the technology *hint* *hint* smile.gif

Posted by: Tachbe Mar 20 2004, 04:34 PM
Yo mean if you stick an Ariane ont he back and hung on for dear life

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 20 2004, 04:37 PM
(*_*)................?

Posted by: Tachbe Mar 20 2004, 04:38 PM
(Ariane's are ESA Space Rockets)

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 20 2004, 04:40 PM
hmmmm the ferreis in Europe seem alot faster now
(if u 2 are based in N. America your ferries must be slow)
well they are probably slow anywhere....but....

Posted by: Tachbe Mar 20 2004, 04:52 PM
Note: Can all other nation splease please contact us ASAP, you holes in the grand design! smile.gif

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 20 2004, 04:59 PM
its best if you contact the nations Directlythrough telegrams

Posted by: Tachbe Mar 20 2004, 05:04 PM
They should turn up in here within 24 hours, if not then I will I supose.

Posted by: Tachbe Mar 20 2004, 05:12 PM
(map updated with new routs marked)

QUOTE (Tachbe @ Mar 19 2004, 10:08 PM)
Crystilakere

yes
?

Posted by: Tachbe Mar 21 2004, 05:20 AM
No, I was explaining to Mk the abbrication of C' was meant to signify you.
But while your round, nor not, do you want to get a transport infastructure/capitalcity/link across the channel/link up to vilita/Ferry ports in place?

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 21 2004, 11:10 AM
The city of Katsuragi would like it if it had a ferry servuce going to Nedila (if and/or if they allow) and the city of Kaolla Su would like a ferry service going to Nilt and Tilan if they would allow

Posted by: Tachbe Mar 22 2004, 11:31 AM
We have a connection!
See map, we no whave lines ground round half the cove. All we need is for WIndywater to connect MK to the link and we have a full range. Then we have Nedlia, C', Talin etc, all the others smile.gif. Come on people! Were on a roll! (kinda)

Posted by: Salmantic Mar 24 2004, 04:12 PM
sorry i missed the boat on this one. Salmantic's capitol city, which is in the south, middle of the nation, should prolly be connected to the supurb transit system i suppose. Salmantic as an internal transport system of MAG trains that links its cities in such a way that it is possible to have non-stop service to each city. So one connectino to the interational system is all that is needed.

Posted by: Tilan Mar 24 2004, 08:03 PM
I am really rehind on this stuff. Time to play catch up.

I'd like to put an int airport on my little island in the cove, along with a city, cause it's hard to have an airport and no city..... I think. Also, there should be a ferry between the island and the main land, it's such a short jump. I have three cities in the lower area of my country, you don't have to mark them all cause it would be hard, cause we're small. I would like a road to curve around our bored by number 11 to connect a city by the little cove and a city by the bigger body of water. What is it called? Tilan city is in the middle of the main land. I'm sorry, I make such a mess waiting so long to get these things done.

Posted by: Tachbe Mar 25 2004, 10:37 AM
Done, kinda.
Not sure exactly what you wanted so if this isn't it shout back and I will fix it.

Posted by: Mitsune Konno Mar 25 2004, 04:33 PM
.....

Posted by: Tachbe Apr 14 2004, 04:18 PM
If we can get this going again.
If we can get a line going into Holy Saints. Also anyone know what Windy Water is up to? Nemya could also do with linking up as well as Crystilakere

Posted by: Holy Saints Apr 14 2004, 04:37 PM
My engineer Battalions are in the proccess of building a nationwide highway system akin to the German Autobahn. ill check the map and see where i could see connections as best for my nation's security(we're like the US, but more rational when it comes to terrorism.)
ill be editing this post on that.

here we go:
http://img11.photobucket.com/albums/v35/fredped/Map1.jpg
now, the gold dotted lines in the sea are ferry lines.
the blue lines in the nation are highways(one goes to the open territory, one to AM.
The big orange box(on the bottom right coast) is my capitol, all the red boxes are major military bases.
the small turquiose boxes are major cities.
the bright green lines are tunnels.
Thanks!

p.s.: put an international airport at the nearest intersection/split by the capitol please.

Posted by: Tachbe Apr 14 2004, 05:07 PM
Do you want me to put a road to those north ferry points aswell? Also putting a road to the city in AM then to Perfectan?
Also the ferry point to Vilita will have to be checked by Vilita, any connection to another country requires their authorisation. The rest I will start work on now.

Posted by: Holy Saints Apr 14 2004, 09:35 PM
yeah, i just added the ferry connection as a convienience because that place seems to be a hub for it(middle of the sea and all...)
the roads to the capitols would be nice too. thanks!

Posted by: Tachbe Apr 15 2004, 06:20 AM
Done, aswell as the Vilita link as I just got a green light from him.

Posted by: Vilita Apr 15 2004, 06:22 AM
no problems here

Posted by: Tachbe Apr 16 2004, 02:46 PM
How about a ferry links from Samonina Cove nations like Vilita and Tachbe?

Posted by: Samonina Apr 16 2004, 03:29 PM
yea sure, go for it. the better the transport links, the better, is the way i see it. just do whatever you think it needs

Posted by: Tachbe Apr 16 2004, 03:37 PM
Can we get a green from Vilita?

Posted by: Vilita Apr 16 2004, 04:22 PM
Sure go for it, I suggest going round the south side however

Posted by: Tachbe Apr 16 2004, 04:28 PM
Are you worried about the fuel again. How do you think cruise liners manage smile.gif!

the maps updated.
When I extend the map I will start a new topic for the map and the transport net
