The fate of the civil rights group has not yet been discussed, although many political analysts believe the group will be outlawed due to the sensitive nature of the new 'Religious Cults Act.'
Lates news: The Zerinian tribal group known as Ulej have once again defied demands from the Senate to disband it's religous practices. Budyan Gonlin, the tribal Chief called President Prince Dexter "a tyrannical and viscious man" when he addressed a crowed in the Zeral town of Yosmin.
Gonlin agitated the 4,000 strong crowed by calling on them to ignore demands from the authorities which call on the tribe to "disband all religious practices exept in accordance with the state."
Governer J.P Edwix ordered police to disband the crowed by authority given to him from the senate. As police moved in protesters began to resist calls to go home, attacking police lines.
Earlier this after noon police made a series of arrests along the entire island, taking into custody 13 leaders of the Ulej tribe. There whereabouts was kept secret and what would happen to them is unknown. The 'Religious Cults Act' states that all religious prisoners can be tried and executed by a government appointed court.
Human rights groups have called on the international community to clamp down on what they call "illegal attacks on civil rights" after reports that members of this tribe, who, over the last 100 years have reduced in numbers from 20,000 to only 7,000, were being executed by Security Forces.
