Currency: East Karelia Rouble
Nations Name: Long Fourm: The People's Republic of East Karelia States.
Short Fourm: East Karelia States.
National Animal: Golden Bear.
Government Type: People's Republic.
National Anthem: Long Live East Karelia States (song to the tune of the former DDR).

For those of you who are intrested to know about what is on the STATE Flag & WAR flag:

The Flag with a red canton set with six white design elements representing the northern lights.

The war flag, has short swallowtails and tongue (like some Finnish flags) This consists of a bear raising a sword over its head and standing on a broken chain. Over the head of the bear is set four white northern lights elements

(I will post our national anthem soon but our national anthem does not have any lyrics just a melody.....I am truly sorry for the confusion )

our History is a little long so bear with me.

Our History

1917

The East Karelian States were quickly caught in the middle of the struggles between red and white Russian forces, the intervention forces under the British and Finnish volunteer expeditions. The military situation changed quickly. However, the East Karelian States worked to set up a government of their own and proclaimed there new nation independent from the Russians during the Russian Revolution of 1917.

After the newly created nation of East Karelian States which lasted for 3 years and the Russian Revolution was over with the execution of the Imperial Family, Tsar Nicholas II a new system of government was set up by Lenin and a new Russia was renamed to the RSFSR ( Russian Socialist Federated Soviet Republic).In 1920 the red Russian’s Invaded East Karelian States and Karelian States quickly fell to Russian forces. And the East Karelian States adopted a new flag under the red forces:

. East Karelian States was renamed to East Karelian States ASSR (Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). During Soviet occupancy many Karelian’s lived in poverty and were ruled by hard nose Communist. When Lenin died in the month of January 1924 many Karelian’s took to the street in a protest to over throw the Communist Government but were quickly stopped by the Police forces. When Stalin became the Ruler of the RSFSR he made a new nation with a new Constitution 10 days after Lenin had past away and renamed the RSFSR to the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and the East Karelian States ASSR was renamed to EKSSSR (East Karelian States Soviet Socialist Republics).

During the years of Stalin many Karelian’s were put to death because of there political sayings and many bosses of the Protest were put to death. When Mikhail G. became Head of State in the 80’s he loosen up government controls and introduced Openness and Reconstruction with that many Communist Nations there were Soviet Satellite states declared independents from Hungary to Albania to Romania. During the years of 1991 many Soviet Republics Including East Karelian States started to declare independents starting with the RSFSR president Boris Yeltsin. Finally in the Month of December 1991 on Christmas Eve Mikhail G. Resigned as President of the USSR/CCCP and the Soviet Union Ceased to exist. On this day after Mikhail resigned as President of the USSR. The Current East Karelian States flag was hoisted over the capital for the first time since it was overtaken by the red’s.
