All nations wishing to participiate in the AOlympic Games in Ainorpisp can sign up in this thread. Thus far, the list of events we are considering (based largely on the events decided upon for the I AOlympics) is as follows:
Swimming: 100m Freestyle, 200m Freestyle, 4x100m Freestyle Relay
Gymnastics: All-Around Individual, All-Around Team
Diving: 3m Springboard
Cycling: Sprint
Tennis: Singles (men's and women's), Mixed Doubles
Triathlon
Soccer: Men's and Women's
Softball
Baseball
Rowing: Coxless Pairs, Fours, and Eights
Basketball: Men's and Women's
Boxing
Track & Field: 100m, 4x100m relay, Decathlon, High Jump, Pole Vault, 110m Hurdles, Marathon
Fencing
Participating nations will be limited to two entrants per individual event, and one team per team event (including one per division, i.e. a men's team and a women's team). Please post AOlympics rosters ASAP, we hope to conclude the sign-up phase by 2/16 or as late as 2/17/05. Any events that do not draw enough interest will be dropped. Suggestions for other events will be gladly considered by the Ainorpispian Olympic Commitee if there is enough interest. |
