This is the first draft of UN proposal that i've been working on. Let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks!
----------------------------------------
UN Peacekeepers (a UN proposal)
CONCERNED by the lack of rules under which NSUN peacekeepers can be deployed,
PROPOSES that the following rules apply for sending NSUN peacekeepers to enforce the peace:
1. The two parties involved in the conflict must both agree to the presence of NSUN peacekeeping troops. 2. The peacekeeping troops must be sent from a nation(s) willing to provide troops for the mission. 3. In cases of Genocide, mass executions, and other crimes against humanity, the NSUN cannot send in peacekeeping troops. However, nothing in this resolution prevents nations from sending in their own troops for such an occasion. 4. NSUN peacekeeping troops can be deployed to areas of natural disasters if the host government agrees. 5. NSUN peacekeeping troops will be deployed under NSUN command, with a commander of the NSUN's choice. |

Lamoni, unfortunately this does fall under the No UN Military rule and so unfortunately is illegal.
I've had some discussion with others (UN regulars) and they where quite emphatic. Though one of them did say they liked your writing.

After further discussion, people have said it could be re-worded to avoid the UN Army rule, however, issues over duplication of resolution #92, Humanitarian Intervention, have also arrisen.
If you still want to persue this I can lead you somewher where you can talk about the issues and throw out potential drafts.
Oh, and yes, before I forget... Link to Humanitarian Intervention |

The UN resolution currently being voted on is aiming to outlaw the formation of any UN army or police force. At the moment, its being rejected by two votes to one. |

I think that I shall wait and see how the current resolution fares, first. |
