Maybe you could just explain it all as the whole affair being held up in your legislature or something? I remember you said that joining would require their affirmative before it went ahead. Perhaps someone in the legislature decided to filibuster against it or something.

Yeah, my government system is basically a tweak of the U.S. government system (where the Senate apparently ratifies treaties; in my case, it's the House of Delegates, in other words, my replacement for the House of Representatives), so I could have a few Delegates filibuster it or something.

The point behind my comment wasn't that I couldn't work around a thread that ended up being ignored; it was that I'd have to do something to work around it.

That’s true, which is why I said “semi-puppet-like entity” rather than “puppet.” It was Pacitalia who made the request for NM to be put on the map, so until NM RPs here on its own, I’ll treat it like a puppet.
