I'm guessing that Paci will update it again when the AOCAF is over.

I'm trying something else out now - I scorinate the legs as usual and those of you with teams still in can RP your team's efforts. It's just getting too tedious to write the same kind of thing over and over and over, and I figure this will make it more fun for the rest of you, since you can become actively participatory in the race.

Leg 6 - Fmjphoenix -> Krytenia -> Bedistan

Flight to Everton City, Krytenia

On AeroPacitalia flight 922, Phonecia > Everton City, 8h3m [int]
(T-1st) Massimo and Antonio [int]
(T-1st) Vincent and Julie [int]
(T-1st) Sarah and Nevan [int]
(T-1st) Chelsie and Rona [int]

On FmjAirlines flight 31, Phonecia > Everton City, 8h11m [int+00:26]
(T-5th) Matt and Alanis [int+00:26]
(T-5th) Dave and Paige [int+00:26]
(T-5th) Lorenzo and Malaino [int+00:26]

On PNAPacitalian flight 2732, Phonecia > Kafra > Everton City, 9h54m [int+00:41]
(8th) John and Maria [int+02:24]

On AeroPacitalia flight 775, Phonecia > Halosen > Everton City, 10h17m [int+01:58]
No teams

------------------------------------------

Public transport/taxi to AOCAF Hall of Fame, Everton City, Krytenia

(1st) Vincent and Julie [int]
(2nd) Massimo and Antonio [int+00:03]
(3rd) Chelsie and Rona [int+00:04]
(4th) Sarah and Nevan [int+00:07]
(5th) Dave and Paige [int+00:31]
(6th) Matt and Alanis [int+00:34]
(7th) Lorenzo and Malaino [int+00:39]
(8th) John and Maria [int+02:24]

Task completion at AOCAF Hall of Fame (Teams must use public transport or hail a taxicab into the centre of Everton City, and find the Atlantian Oceania Cup of Association Football Hall of Fame. Once there, they must search the museum and find the archives room and find at least one player with more than 15 caps in AOCAF-level competition. Once they have done that, they may proceed to the player's section on the Wall of Fame where they will find a cluebox.)

(1st) Chelsie and Rona [int]
(2nd) Sarah and Nevan [int+00:03]
(3rd) Massimo and Antonio [int+00:05]
(4th) Vincent and Julie [int+00:08]
(5th) Dave and Paige [int+00:15]
(6th) Matt and Alanis [int+00:27]
(7th) Lorenzo and Malaino [int+00:31]
(8th) John and Maria [int+02:39]

Completion of Detour in Sonoma City, Bedistan

Ring or Sing
> In ring, teams descend the tower and find a hot-dog vendor at street level. He will hand them a second clue envelope containing only a slip of paper with a Bedistani telephone number on it. However, the numbers are in word format, in Noterelenda (one of the official languages of Bedistan), so teams will need to ask locals or consult an English-Noterelenda dictionary to figure out the number. Once they've deciphered it, they must call the number where the person on the other end will tell them the location of their next clue.
> In sing, teams descend the tower and drive to Dixon Hall, one of Sonoma City's grand concert halls, where they will join an orchestral choir and sing a full rendition of the local adaptation of O Fortuna, a Latin operatic cantata. However, the song has been translated into Noterelenda, and teams will need to try their best to master the pronunciations. Teams with a knack for learning different languages will excel at this task. Once finished, the teams will be handed a clue envelope that contains only a slip of paper telling them the location of the next cluebox. Teams partaking in sing may drive their cars to the location.

(1st) Chelsie and Rona [int]
(2nd) Sarah and Nevan [int+00:10]
(3rd) Massimo and Antonio [int+00:17]
(4th) Vincent and Julie [int+00:22]
(5th) Dave and Paige [int+00:31]
(6th) Matt and Alanis [int+00:38]
(7th) Lorenzo and Malaino [int+00:44]
(8th) John and Maria [int+00:59]

Completion of Roadblock in Columbia, Bedistan

In this roadblock, one member of each team must successfully kick five footballs into a standard international-size goal, on the pitch, from a point halfway between the penalty box and the centre circle. There will be no goalkeeper but the distance itself will be daunting enough. Once completed the task, teams will receive their next clue. If they fail to finish, they must start the task over, but since only two teams may engage in the roadblock at once, if teams are waiting they cannot restart the task until the other teams have had their attempt. Teams may only use their feet for this task - no heading, no knees and no hands.

Roadblock participant in bold

(1st) Massimo and Antonio [int]
(2nd) Vincent and Julie [int+00:06]
(3rd) Dave and Paige [int+00:14]
(4th) Sarah and Nevan [int+00:15]
(5th) Chelsie and Rona [int+00:27]
(6th) Lorenzo and Malaino [int+00:38]
(7th) John and Maria [int+00:49]
(8th) Matt and Alanis [int+00:54]

Pit stop - Northwest entrance to the Fillmore National Stadium, Columbia, Bedistan

(1st) Massimo and Antonio [int]
(2nd) Vincent and Julie [int+00:05]
(3rd) Dave and Paige [int+00:14]
(4th) Sarah and Nevan [int+00:16]
(5th) Chelsie and Rona [int+00:25]
(6th) Lorenzo and Malaino [int+00:35]
(7th) John and Maria [int+00:51]
(8th) Matt and Alanis [int+00:54]

Matt and Alanis placed last on a non-elimination leg and must place first in the next leg in order to avoid incurring a 30-minute penalty at the pit stop next leg. They are now "marked for elimination".

OOC: I found your reports fun to read. Those reports were what I used for my "rebroadcast" to The Heartland - http://z1.invisionfree.com/forums/The_Hear...?showtopic=4006.

Oh well.

BTW, not quite sure how teams got to Sonoma City from Everton City...
