The mass starts to sing the Latao song when NEC-President Omsec finally enters the stage

We’re seeing a massive crowd dressed in the Latao Uniform of Glory with the shiny dead skulls on their hats, some of them wearing Latao flags and others marching in black coats and boots with flambeaus.
The NEC-Leader President of the Confederacy starts shouting his speech to the mass
Latao People!
Latao over all!
These days, when the enemies of the Latao race send dark clouds over Oceania, the destiny demands a decision – a decision over existence or slavery!
The times, when our proud nation of Latao is forced into slavery of the so-called strong powers, are gone for all time!
Now, that they even want to ban us from international organizations we served for so many years – they have gone too far!
The proud being of Latao has been offended one final time!
A nation like Latao will always be on top!
Latao will go its way straight!
Who stands against us is destructed!
Latao makes the sun shine! No foreign power shall dare to force the Latao folk into something it does not want! Latao will erase its enemies!
The time is ripe for great Latao – a nation that never accepts foreign forces again. History has brought us to brink of chaos, but if it’s that what these eternal bastards want – to suppress and to enslave the people of Latao into decisions made by paper-office organizations, the consequences shall not be our fault! If these dark powers force the region into a war it shall be their will!
We will go our way and we will go it with our head high – Latao above everything!

If the powers of Atlantian Oceania want to precipitate the region into a war it’s their decision. Latao will never knuckle down on their wills.

Going out on newswires and to news agencies live around the world, Lord-Protector Tiberius Starblayde knew that every news outlet in the Region would be wanting to see this. A computer-graphic of the Starblaydi flag filled the screen, billowing gently in a virtual wind
"My Lords, Ladies and Gentlemen," the voice-over said, "the Lord-Protector of Starblaydia."
Standing at a wooden lecturn, carved in the shape of an in-flight Imperial Eagle, Lord-Protector Tiberius Starblayde stares out with a grim, serious look at billions of pairs of eyes through the TV camera.
"My fellow people of Atlantian Oceania," he begins, his practise at reading a teleprompt obvious to any professional TV presenter, "some minutes ago, Starblaydi and other allied forces, at my request, launched an attack on the Reich of Latao. This is not a decision we have come to lightly, as we respect the people of Latao itself. However, the Latin government has increasingly shown it's fickle-mindedness and lack of willingness to co-operate with the Region at large. From this moment on, Starblaydia is at war with Latao." he paused a moment to let that fact sink in.
"Usually," he continued, "our ambassador in the Reich would have informed the Latin government of such a momentous decision as this, but after ejecting our representative on the basis of a decision made by the Atlanian Oceania Regional Defence Organisation, all dilpomatic channels with the Reich have been shut down. As you may have read, or seen, the Reich of Latao has purchased nuclear weapons. Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles, no less." Another dramatic pause, to make the audience think 'Latao? With nukes? Oh no.'
"In conjunction with the Nation of Abattoir, our friend and ally, Starblaydi Naval and Air Forces have begun a strike against the Latin government, in response to it's nuclear programme. The 'nuclear weapons club' is a responsible one, and as a nation with nuclear weapons of its own, the responsibility falls on Starblaydia and our allies to remove weapons from the hands of madmen.
"We have seen the 'president' of Latao, Mister Roger Omsec, conduct a war rally in his nation, attempting to fool the good people of Latao that they are under some kind of foreign tyranny. This is not so, as any observer will tell you. They claimed to have served the region for long years, but have only served themselves. If their is any 'dark power' in the region, then it is in the office of the President of the NEC of Latao. 'Thousand-year Reichs' backed up by whirlwind, psychotic rhetoric from madmen in broken English have long been despised by good nations around the world.
"It is not the good people of Latao that our quarrel is with, for they are a decent and hard-working people. Our quarrel is with Roger and his Cabin-boys. All actions have consequences, Roger, and we is fully prepared to accept our responsibilities. Are you? All Latin citizens are required to leave Starblaydia immediately and peacefully, under escort and protection of Starblaydi Law Enforecement Officers if necessary. The few remaining Starblaydi citizens in Latao have already been contacted and asked to leave Latao. Starblaydia itself shall not rest until these weapons of mass destruction are out of the hands of Mister Omsec. That is all I have to say to you." Another dramatic pause. "Starblaydia Triumphant."
Slowly the picture of Lord-Protector Starblayde fades, replaced once more by the rippling black-purple-white of the Starblaydi flag, with the Starblaydi national anthem of 'Starblaydia Triumphant' for all to hear.

When the aggression of Starblaydia and Abbattoir against Latao began, the Latin embassy squad left Starblaydia in a rush.
As we saw, they put the house of their embassy on fire before they left and installed a timed bomb.
There's nothing known so far about possible damage, injureds or even deads. |
