This is a special report from the Milito International News Feed:

At 1:30pm Milito Standard Time, in transit to a state event, Commander-In-Chief, and Prime Minister of Milito, John Tarnor was assasinated. His car was rigged with an explosive device and was detonated en route. The role of Commander-In-Chief has passed to his son, Thomas Tarnor, and the Deputy Prime Minister, James Hilgath will take control of the government. Following the guidelines set down in the Milito Elections Act, there will be a General Election in the Rogue Nation of Milito within the year (within the week IRL). An investigation has begun into the perpetrators (sp?) of this devastating crime.

There will be a state funeral in the next few days and leaders from all members of Atlantian Oceania are welcome to attend.

(OOC: Actually, here, a year is a day, making a week IRL 7 years here.)

[OOC: I think it still depends on factors like which country uses what system and the roleplay. Roleplays like the AOCAF thread go at a glacial pace in comparison to the standards of 1 RL day = 1 NS year or 1 RL week = 1 NS year. It varies constantly.]

Sarzonia wishes to express its condolences on the tragic loss.

(OOC: Year=Day is for Population purposes only and does not need to be followed in RP)

(OOC: Okay, to avoid throwing off this RP I will stick with the 1 RL Week = 1 NS Year for now, but in the future I will follow the 1 NS Year = 1 RL Day policy.)
