Our forces have currently stopped all military operations but the activities of URF have said to have lead them to flee the area they have been fighting to take up positions on this island.
Our intelligence reports have indicated that a command base and new recruits for the terrorist insurrection has come from this island.
My government must take action to prevent these criminals from using the island to stage attacks against our people.
We would like to resolve this problem however, in a peaceful manner. We would like to set up peace talks between us and the Ulej Tribe to come to some sort of agreement.
We believe that the island can be home to ALL Ulej people and have there own parliment, but be economically and militarily connected to Dartace. In return for this, we will allow them to practice what ever religion they desire, as long as all terrorist and illegal actions seize, and all Ulej who wish to practice their religion leave the country to this island.
Any Ulej who remain in Dartace must abide by Dartacian law. |
