Hello, Bill Posters here.
It seems to us here at DruidSport that what the DruidLeague needed to boost it's profile was an irregular round-up show, to tell the people of the world exactly what's going on in Atlantian Oceania's joint fifth best league.
It's currently pre-season in Druida right now, but all the talk has been of foreign transfer activities. And, despite many a threat of this actually happening in the past, this time it has actually happened.
It all started with druidLeague Five side Plaskynaston Lane's signiture of Proletarian Panda's attacking midfielder Calypso Martins, who became only the second ever foreigner to play on these shores.
Since then, by Druidan standards at least, it's been all go. Mattan has come in from Nedalian club Porasse SC to Parkville for 84 million cwuls, at first it was thought, as a partner for Maxwell Chilvers. But it seems that Adrian Belmore will be staying, and Chilvers, who is now 33, will be moving on to Graymouth.
Then the biggest star of the Spruitland League, Samson Trouwel, moved to Cranbury United for 25 million cwuls, while Trevor Fic, disappointed at Trevor City's eventual relegation, has moved on to Spruitland for a new challenge. He will be using his survival skills to try to keep Viss Athletique in the top flight there next season.
Then there's Bobby Bash, the Fmjphoenix centre back who has left Sunnyslope F.C. (those sponsors over there sure get it all, don't they!) for Llllllllllcwllllllll Rovers for... well, a lot. He, along with another signing, left midfielder Marcus Storm from Parkville, will both be hoping to live up to their names next season.
The Parkville squad clearence continued to be cleared out, as bit part players have been leaving to move all over Druida. Right back Ieauan Sorrellime has gone to his namesakes Sorrellime Avengers, Tony Rewgum will be shoring up the centre of Kirkanden's defence next season, Wayne Trevors will be up front at Cefn Bus Station next year, while Trevor Askew has become the first player of non-Vilitan origin to sign for Vilitan Exiles. How he will fair remains to be seen.
The big managerial move of the close season is that Ron Lambealle has been sacked as part of the great Parkville clearout, only to be taken on at rivals Cefn Albion a matter of days later. The move made the Albion fans feel as if they'd gotten one over their old rivals, while Parkville fans just laughed at them. Parkville have said that they have a potential new head coach in their sights, but will not disclose as yet who this could be.

Bill Posters here again, and the DruidLeague has seen some more big names come into Druidan football. The biggest name to come in is probably Vanessa Carpenter, the latest in a long line of classic Bedistani players, and probably the best female player the world has ever seen. She's gone to Parkville to become head coach, after Ron Lambealle was sacked and moved on to Cefn Albion. It's given the team the boot up the backside they needed, and they're now in fourth after ten games, and improving by the week.
Cefn Albion are another team that should be challenging every season, but inevitably don't. It seems almost certain that they will be making a signing to help them do this now, though, as Isreal Dooney, the next big thing at the back for Vtorbetin, looks almost certain to move in a deal worth around 63 million cwuls (rough conversion £5,000,000).
However, it is the famous Druid Tribune pair of Defnyddiwch and Montenegro who have fired their team to the top of the standings, though Bobby Bash's influence at the heart of the Llllllllllcwllllllll Rovers defence has helped them get the right balance between defence and attack, and they have so far matched DT stride for stride.
At the bottom, it's the usual suspects, though perhaps Inter Dave might not have expected to have been dragged into the mess. Only time will tell if they pull through.

Ormillton Weaponary are looking good for promotion to the DPL already after narrowly missing out to Garth Wanderers last season. Cefn Athletic are finally showing form that might see them set up a derby game with Albion for the first time in ages next year, while Newton Vale have gotten used to life in DL2 well after being relegated last season. however, this league is still very tight, so what will happen is anyone's guess. It isn't looking good for Morton Harkett, though.
Also worth noting is that Trevor Lee, the highly rated Druidan international goalkeeper of West Cefn Rangers is no longer of West Cefn Rangers, but has been released to go to South Coast United, Bedistan, following in the footsteps of the legendary Trefor "Elastic" Edwards, who is going to become Druida's national manager.

Besmetherick Town look good for yet another relegation from DL4, their fans really must be getting sick of it. Meanwhile, Pontypanddar Athletic are relatively comfortable in the top three and look good to go up at this stage.

Now, DL5 is one that'll interest a lot of people, because that is where Plaskynaston Lane, home to two full internationals in Calypso Martins and now Marligantis' Aar Lai'aano, are expected to run away with the league. Only so far they haven't. The rest of the team seem to be relying on these tw oa lot, and while they are the only team in the division still unbeaten, they are dead level with other promotion favourites Brossington Clan, with the two of them to meet on matchday eleven. Still, at least the Lane got their revenge on Bob for their early cup exit last season, even if they did go out in the second round. More on the cup at the end of the season, though.

The Daily Druid
ALBION SIGN ISREAL Well, they Dooney-d it!
Cefn Albion have finally made the signing of Vtorbetin central defender Isreal Dooney for 63 million cwuls, and boy, do they need it! After speculation linking the two parties for much of the 2015 season, Dooney will finaly arrive after playing for Vtorbetin in the Baptism of Fire tournament across the region in Vilita and Fmjphoenix.
And boy do they need him if they're to keep up with Druid Tribune and Cranbury United, who ran away from the pack, leaving other fancied teams like Llllllllllcwllllllll Rovers, Albion and Parkville, who are looking a lot better under Vanessa Carpenter's leadership, behind some way in the distance.
In reality, the title was always going to go DT's way, though Cranbury did their best in delaying the inevitable until the second last day of the season. But it was never going to be enough. With Defnyddiwch and Montenegro up front, and a back line that just didn't seem to be troubled, DT went round breaking as many records as they could - most goals scored in a DruidLeague season, least goals conceded in a Druid Premier League season, highest scorer in a season (Defnyddiwch scored 32, just two more than Montenegro) - the list goes on. It'll be tough for them to put up a
repeat show next season. Meanwhile, the last two league champions, Coleford Town and Bessburg, fell back into the pack, showing just how unpredictable the DruidLeague can be. At the bottom, another surprise - Garth Wanderers will be lining up for another DPL season, despite starting the season as heavy favourites to go down, along with Brallton and Trontby.
However, they managed to scrape enough points over the season, and so the other newly promoted club, Sorrellime Avengers, go back down at the first attempt. However, this just goes to show how big the gulf between the DPL and DL2, with promoted teams now seemingly doomed to a season of struggling from which the struggle to recover, while only Inter dave from the established DPL teams came anywhere near the relegation struggle, but their problems went with a great run between games 11 and 15.

There will be a Cefn derby game in the DPL next season! But not the one many were expecting with just seven games to go, when Cefn Athletic were comfortably in the promotion places. Athletic didn't win after that, and were beaten out of the promotion places by none other than little Cefn Bus Station, in hteir last year of their Streetian sponsorship contract. The 6,000 capacity attendance for the final game of the season, albeit a 2-1 defeat to already relegated Morton Harkett, means that they'll be getting a little extra money next season, and could even mean that we could see an international quality signiture at the Bus Station, with the Streetian Compound League a likely place to go searching.
However, Ormillton Weaponary were the real DL2 acheivers. They won the league by twelve points over Newton Vale, and it could have been many more if they didn't decide to take it easy over the last ten games, of which the surprisingly won only three. It could just be that they might actually stand a cat in hell's chance of surviving next year.
At the bottom, Trevor City only avoided a second successive relegation because there were three absolutely dire teams that couldn't do anything but go down. It seems the inspirational Trevor Fic's sale to Spruitland's Viss Athletique has hit the team from the North East more than they expected, and the downward spiral looks like it could continue into next season.

At last, the international journeymen of RCI Dave Blades and the Anwir Cymru nationalists of Pontycaerpwlli Dragons have been seperated! A 3-1 win for the multi-national Blades against Team Stimpace, coupled with a 2-0 defeat for the Dragons at home to South Earncross United meant that the Blades will be promoted to DL2 again, but this time without the team they now call their rivals. That is because Llllllllllcwllllllll Juniors, another of the Dragons' rivals, and Druid Tribune's second team Bekk View Stars were better than the pair over the season.
At the bottom, the three relegation places were decided with games to spare. Cefn Viaduct, South Earncross United and Tobias Thursdays, the latter two after just one season up. Newiyd Rovers also drop out of the league - after not being able to find a permanent home in Newiyd, they have folded. This means that extra teams from lower leagues will be promoted and a new team introduced to DL5 next season, most likely to be a representative of the new NEWI Cefn Druids state invited by the DFA to calm any potential hostility.

DL4 will be saying goodbye to Tormany Heroes, Pontypanddar Athletic and, at long last, Kingston Gray Albion, as they are all promoted to DL3, leaving the pre-season promotion favourites Chemindus United in fourth place, only going up thanks to Newiyd Rovers' demise after two successive relegations. Besmetherick Town saved themself from the embarrasement of being relegated to DL5 just four seasons after starting out in DL2. As it is, Brymbo Masthampton, Llwellbam Carcarorion and Allensborough go down, with Carpet getting a lucky escape; Only a late equaliser for Brung Town at home to Brymbo kept them up. Also worth noting is that, for the first time just about ever, Zobordi Cefn TINH had a reasonably dull season.

Of course, DL5 has been getting a lot more publicity than usual this season, as Plaskynaston Lane have decided to start spending big. Well, bigger than anyone in the lower reached of Druidan football, anyway. However, they left promotion fine, despite being in the top three all season. It came own to the last day. However, the Lane lost, 1-0 against Cwmall Dreigiau. Fortunately, the two teams beneath them, Caeddord Guard and Ob drew one-all with each other, and they made it. Something tells me this ride to the top isn't going to be as smooth as some imagined!
The attention given to the Lane detracted from the other three promoted clubs; Brossington Clan went back up as champions, something they were second favourites to do, while Griffinsfield, bottom just three seasons ago, finished above the so-called 'big club' of the division. Caerddord Guard were also quite a surprise to be so high up the league. We shall have to wait for next season in DL4 to see how it works out then.

DFA Cup
The effect Vanessa Carpenter has had on Parkville really showed in their performances in this seasons DFA Cup. The cup, which changed back from being an end of season competition to one played throughout the season, seemed destined to be heading for Druid Tribune as they swept all that went before them until, with just three minutes of extra time left in their semi-final, Ricky Mallon, captain of Coleford Town and Druida, slammed home a 25 yarder to knock them out. But nothing can take away Carpenter's achievements in her first season as a coach.
Round One
The cup started even before the league season this year, as the sides in the bottom two divisions of the DruidLeague played for a chance to play one of the big boys. Though these games aren't usually worth mentioning, a couple are. Firstly, the little big boys of Plaskynaston Lane had a rematch of last year's first round tie against Bob, and this time they won! Secondly, Underwyre United and Griffinsfield went all the way to sudden death penalties, where United eventually won.

No real shocks in the second round this year, though a couple of lower league teams did beat opposition from higher up the structure, most notably South Earcross United against Cefn Bus Station.
The tie of the round was at the Dave Dome, where Inter Dave played Dinamo Neodzki, beating them 2-0 after Angus McCootey headed past his own keeper Elmo van der Hesselvenatchov with just five minutes remaining, then conceded a penalty which Barry Howles put away easily past Druida's national team keeper.

If there were no surprises in the previous round, then there was definately some here. Mike Williams getting a winner for Scanley against Cefn Albion was one, the other being Trevor Bec's goal that let Mawr City see of Inter Dave at the Dome.
The biggest game was the one between the top two, Cranbury United and Druid Tribune. It was the two strikers that made the difference, as it has so often been throughout the season, with Montenegro and Defnyddiwch getting one each to see DT through 2-0.

Another top flight scalp for Scanley, as relegation threatened Garth Wanderers came to the Wise Eye and became their second top flight scalp. The only other game worth noting was the one between last year's cup winners Bessburg and Llllllllllcwllllllll Rovers, in which the holders went ahead early on, only for each of the Rovers' Jones brothers to get one each as they powered through into the next round.

Two tense games, two draws over 90 minutes, two exciting periods of extra time, but winning goals from Ricky Mallon and Adrian Belmore mean that last year's league winners Coleford Town will face resurgent Parkville.

DFA Cup Final 2015 And so it came to pass that fortune would smile on the young Nedalian, and he would go forth and strike the winning goal in the cup final, getting his team their first trophy for three years and his coach her first one in her new job. It's as if it all went to script (unless you're a Coleford fan.)

FOREIGNER REPORT
Bedistan - As you may have realised already, Vanessa Carpenter has got her career as a coach off to a flier by taking the DFA Cup in her first season in charge of Parkville. Fans will be expecting further improvement in the league next season, though.
Fmjphoenix - A solid season for Bobby Bash in the Llllllllllcwllllllll Rovers backline, and even though Rovers couldn't quite keep up with the unstoppable leaders, Bash has settled in well, and could be even better next year.
Kingsford - In an unbelieveable transfer coup, the ever eccentric Zobordi Cefn TINH have signed the ever eccentric Henry Tuck as their goalkeeper. The team, famous for their pink, orange and brown kit, have actually been playing Tuck, aged 60, in some league games this year, most notably in the 4-0 defeat at Bob.
Marligantis - The arrival of internationals in DL5 meant that the pressure was very much on at Plaskynaston Lane this season. However, it seemed more often than not that the minor Druidan players in the team relied on Aar Lai'aano a little too much at times. The pressure told, as Lai'aano would often be seen showing a bit of frustration towards his team mates.
Nedlia - Parkville have definately found a capable replacement for the aging Maxwell Chilver in Mattan. Despite a slow start watching strike partner Adrian Belmore take a lot of the glory, Mattan soon settled in, finishing the season as the club's top scorer with 20.
Proletarian Pandas - Calypso Martins was in the same boat as Lai'aano. The Lane team really thought that these two would rip the division up on their own, and it showed as Martins tired towards the end of the season. Some improved team-mates might lead to a better time up in DL4.
Sarzonia - Druida's first ever foreign import, Darwin Russell was inspirational behind Parkville's resurgence this season. Most noteable contribution, aside from 7 goals and 16 assists, was the cross that set up Mattan for the winner in the cup final.
Spruitland - The one team that did push Druid Tribune this season were Cranbury United, and Samson Trouwel played his part in that, with 11 goals and 19 assists from the right of midfield.
ALL STAR TEAM OF THE SEASON
GK: Trefor Edwards Jr. (Druid Tribune) LB: Trefor Griffiths (Druid Tribune) RB: Trevor Fielding (Cranbury United) CB: Trefor Fish (Druid Tribune) CB: Trevor Ellis (Parkville) LM: Liam Jones (Llllllllllcwllllllll Rovers) RM: Samson Trouwel (Cranbury United) CM: Mark Lilley (Druid Tribune) CM: Ricky Mallon (Coleford Town) CF: Trefor Montenegro (Druid Tribune) CF: Trefor Defnyddiwch (Druid Tribune)

A GUIDE TO DRUIDAN RIVALRIES
You see all the clubs in the DruidLeague play each other season after season, but which are the games that really get the fans going? Let's take a look...
Parkville v Bessburg - These two have never been keen on each other, even before there was football. It's very much a local pride thing, coupled with more than a hint of history. The border between Parcyd and Bessburgyd (the regions of the two cities), has moved thoughout history, despite the fact that they're only a matter of miles apart.
Parkville v Cefn Albion - This is a big one because, back in the beginning, they were the two biggest powers in the Druid game. Albion still haven't won a thing, though, and Parkville fans remind the mof that every time they play.
Cranbury United v Parkville/Bessburg - One for United fans only, I'm afraid. Cranbury has always thought of itself as a rival to Parkville and Bessburg, but the other two are far too embroiled in a dislike of each other for it to become a three way thing. Plus Cranbury's not really near anywhere, it's just closer to these two that anywhere else.
Graymouth v South Grayside - The ultimate haves v have nots in Druidan culture. Graymouth prosperers with Chemindus bringing life into an otherwise deprived city, South Grayside watches in from over the river, wondering why it couldn't be them. South Grayside also dislike Chemindus United, who many in the city would rather call Graymouth B.
Cefn Albion v Cefn Athletic - A cross-city rivalry like no other, and another case of haves and haven'ts, though not on the scale of those on the River Gray. Still pretty fierce, though.
RCI Dave Blades v Pontycaerpwlli Dragons - This might seem like a bit of an unusual one, but the two have been challenging each other for a number of seasons now, and both always end up doing the same thing. However, 2015 has seen an end to that. But the rivallry has stuck.
Vilitan Exiles v Llllllllllcwllllllll Rovers - Another unusual one, but there was unexpected friction between the two sets of fans on the last day of the season at the Anwir Cymru Arms. We might not have seen the last of this one yet.
POTENTIAL CLOSE SEASON TRANSFERS
It seems likely that one or two players will be moving in for a few players before we get started in 2016. For a start, Cefn Bus Station are rumoured to be putting a bid in for a Cockbill Street international, though who it will be is still unknown. After all, it was Streetian backing that has helped them get promotion to the DPL, despite the smallest crowds in the top three divisions.
However, it seems more likely that the Bus Station will move their interests to Trevor Wilson, the Druidan international at Likh'gokh K'druz'ba who doesn't seem to be having the best of times out there. Wilson is a regular in hte Druida national team, but doesn't seem to do the business for his club. With the DPL more attractive than it has ever been, with his typically Druidan style of rugged attacking that really doesn't suit playing against dwarves.
Hockey Canadian goalkeeper Kyle Thomas looks a good bet to come to Cefn Albion, with the experienced Paul Rowntree, along with a couple of youngsters, heading off from Albion to play in the Beer League.
Parkville are rumoured to be interested in a move for goalkeeper Quasim Black fromYork in Liamist States. This means that Trevor Stoley, Parkville's current goalkeeper, will be looking for a move. Kirkanden have been linked with the player, though an offer from abroad could tempt the 29-year-old.
Ricky Mallon, Druida and Coleford Town's influential captain, is rumoured to be looking for a move to a club with which he might win something. Despite winning the league with town in 2014, it is thought that he feels the club will struggle to reach those heights again. Druid Tribune are said to be interested, but a move abroad could be the most likely option.
West Cefn Rangers right midfielder Carl Lightson, 25, is also looking for a move elsewhere, as he feels that DL2 is not the place for him. He could do a job in many a top flight side around the world.
Finally, Vilitan Exiles are looking for any Vliitan or Turorian players without a club to come and play for the Port Scadock based club. They need to strengthen after another dismal mid-table finish. At the same time, the Exiles' top young central defender Vite Makose is thought to be looking to be the first player from the club to make it to play back home. Though no club has yet declared an official interest, it is thought that a number of sides in both the Stellar and Declasse have been tracking the 18-year-old. The player is also available to play international football for either Vilita or Druida, so if he ever makes it that far, we shall see.

Bill Posters here on DruidSport, running you through the latest transfer news in the DruidLeague.
Cefn Albion had already secured the signiture of Isreal Dooney to strengthen their defence for next season, and now they've gone and signed themself as top international goalkeeper, too. Kyle Thomas, the Hockey Canadian international goalkeeper, who's something ridiculously young like 8 years old, will now be between the sticks next season. The deal sees Paul Rowntree head for the Beer League, along with a couple of youngsters no-one's really heard of, not even many of the Albion faithful. Rowntree's gap will be filled by another youngster, Trevor Dowley, a 19-year-old Albion have bought from DL3 side Port Scadock Ramblers for 5 million cwuls.
Another side with a new keeper next season will be Parkville, who have swapped their young reserve keeper Connor Michaels for the services of Quasim Black from York of Liamist States. At the same time, Parkville's first choice from last season, Trevor Stoley, has moved on to Partizan Drissa for 7 million cwuls after declaring that he didn't want to spend his time sitting on the bench.
Druid Tribune failed to manage to strengthen their defence for the new season. Not that they really need to be stronger, having conceded a record low of just ten league goals last year. However, DT did try to bring in Jana Kansu from Rejistanian amateur side Kalisimu Salan. However, Kansu isn't too keen on leaving Salan, as many clubs have discovered in the past, and so they'll just have to make-do with the record breaking defence they had last season.
Finally, Cefn Bus Station, who somewhat miraculously made it into the DPL last season, have spent their 42 million cwul budget on one player - Marcus Tripton, a Cockbill Street international left midfielder now formerly of Harewood FC. However, they did manage to get Carl Lightson from West Cefn Rangers for nothing, so they'll have new players on both sides. "Save the Bus Station!" as Tripton put it upon signing. Hopefully, they will... |

Bill Posters here again with the final round-up before the start of the 2016 season.
Dinamo Neodzki look almost certain to have a World Cup finalist in their side next season. Yes, Raven Oaker, one of the main stars of the Oaker side, is coming to the New Europan club. A bid somewhere in the region of 10 million cwuls ($1.4 million) looks like it could be enough to secure the player's signiture.
As Oaker comes in, Vite Makose is leaving the DPL to go across the water to Morata Valley in Vilita, a move to the land of his forefathers. Druida's new national team manager Trefor "Elastic" Edwards has told reporters that he will keep an eye on how the player does for his new club, though whether he'd actually want to play for Druida or not remains to be seen.
Finally, the transfer of Marcus Tripton to Cefn Bus Station frome Harewood FC has fallen through, after it was found that Tripton kind of wasn't there. This means that the Bus Station will almost surely go down without much of a fight this season. |

The Daily Druid
FOREIGN PLAYERS SENT HOME By Liam Gessemschmitthaagen-Po
As the tensions rise across Druida, the players of the DruidLeague have found their game to be put on hold yet again. After having no domestic action for six years, firstly in protest at the banning of the scoreline 0-0 in Druida, then due to a plague of alcoholism amongst Druida's footballers, the DruidLeague thought that its problems were now all in the past. Oh no.
Just four games into the DruidLeague's comeback season, where Thackworth Rovers and Druid Tribune were 100% at the top of the league, the league is off again - and this time, it is due to a government warning.
The Druidan government has issued a warning that "if you are not actually Druidan, it might be a good idea to get out of the country". With football playing a predominant part in Druidan life, the foreign footballers in our league will be some of the most high profile departees. They are as follows:
CODE | Name Pos Club Nation Kyle Thomas GK Cefn Albion Hockey Canada Quasim Black GK Parkville Liamist States Bobby Bash CB Thackworth Rovers Fmjphoenix Isreal Dooney CB Cefn Albion Vtorbetin Darwin Russell LM Parkville Sarzonia Samson Trouwel RM Cranbury United Spruitland Raven Oaker RM Dinamo Neodzki Oaker Aar Lai'aano CM Crook Cavaliers Marligantis Calypso Martins CM Plaskynaston Lane Proletarian Pandas Mattan CF Parkville Nedalia Marcus Tripton CF Cefn Bus Station Cockbill Street Vanessa Carpenter Coach Parkville Bedistan |
Henry Tuck, the 68 year-old Kingsfordian streaker, who has been officially registered as a goalkeeper at Zobordi Cefn TINH for a number of years now, has actually completely vanished already.
In the same vein, the DFA have requested that as many Druidan players as possible find new clubs, as they might not survive if they stay at home, such is the warning the government have given out. If your club are interested in giving a Druidan a home, please contact the DFA (OOC: TG me), and we'll see what we can do.
