Space Program
Scientist at Taaru Observation Lab (TOL) have recieved a signal from space two weeks ago. The message appears to be of alien origin. Some symbols have already been identified since there is a sligt resemblance to the ancient language of Kamano-soto. This caused serious doubts of Taaru origin.
"This has verified my doubts," says the famous scientist Mitsu Matsu. "It has always been a mystery how our civilised nation appeared out of nowhere. We don't know what happened before 6 mio years - that is what happened before Taaru became civilised. Most scientist have assumed that there was a great catastrophy which erased all documentation of old ages. But this changes everything. I believe our nation originates on some distant planet which is now calling for us, the lost brothers and sisters."
National Church is shocked. "God created us and not some aliens. Do not believe this heretics," says bishop Yao.
We all wonder what may happen next. Who knows..perhaps our true home lies somewhere among all those shiny stars on the night sky..

Then again I have a History of Starblaydia coming up that goes all the way back to the Stone Age, but who knows where their leaps in knowledge came from? So I'm in, if only for this forum's sake.

Ap Ratell, a leading Stralphian scientist has this translation of part of the message, and the parts which have been untranslatable are put in <<>> signs:

We are troubled over this message and question the translation.
Our top scientists and scholars are unable to determine the meaning of this word "imperation". We are assuming it to be the rule of an Imperator.
Concerning that note, the Imperator is the title given to the leader of our Federation. We notice the use of such word in the message and it is in our best interests to determine if the message is referring to us or not.

After careful consideration of the deciphered part of the message, Starblaydi experts from all fields point to the obvious upheaval at the source of the transmission, with some form of rebellion attempting to pull down the established rulers.
The index may refer to an index of a document times, dates, or perhaps stellar co-ordinates in some fashion.
Is it also possible to determine the chronological origin of the message? As this message may have been winging it's way across the inky blackness of space for many millions of years.

Or perhaps it is an encoded radio transmission from Earth rebounding back off of stellar objects.

The TOL thanks all nations for offering support in seciphering the message and investigating its origin.
So far only a small segment of the message has been translated and there is still a long way to go. Judging from the index numbers, they might be stellar coordinates. Perhaps an alien nation is calling out for our help. However we won't know exactly until the whole thing gets deciphered.
Supposedly this message contains a map or a guide to an alien planet with some warnings or help messages attached to it. In order to help or investigate this alien planet we'd still have to make some major space research funding. The big question is how we would be able to get to them?
We'll run some tests with these index numberes. Perhaps we can come up with something useful.
About the chronological origin of the message... We've checked it several times and it appears to be sent two months ago. We don't know how this could be possible, since there is no inhabited planets within this two months radio wave zone. Is it possible the message found its way through some worm hole or something? Unfortunately our lab does not possess technology to discover worm holes (if they even exist - we're unable to determine).

Imperator Siricvs glanced over the most recent release of the Taaru report. He notices their request for information on wormholes.
"Hybridvs."
"Yes Imperator?"
"Withdraw Novvs Atlantis from this operation at once. Do not commit any resources to this at all. Increase the security clearance required for any and all documents or data chips regarding PROJECT: ATLANTIS. And again, remove Novvs Atlantis from anything pertaining to this issue. Do I make myself clear?"
"Of course Siricvs. I fully understand."
The Consvl entered a few commands into his data pad and hustled off.

The Consvl smirked.
"They're good."
"Indeed they are. Perhaps we should contact them later in regards to PROJECT:ATLANTIS."

For what we can tell, the word 'Imperator' and 'imperation' mean something similar to the Xile-NA-Abattoir alliance attempting to excercise hegemony against everyone else.
Ap Ratell doesn't work for SFIF nor any Stralphian propaganda agency. He is an independent scientist working at the University of Stralphi.

The Mines of Crystilakere have completed the construction of a new Multi-Billion Crystil Earthen Space Center on the tip of the southern Crystili Fork.
The Center will serve as the new hub for all Space Aged Research and Launchings. Work is almost completed on a new model space transport vehicle that launches horizontally, not vertically, and accomodations for this are being made on the new 12,350 Acre complex.
