Mar 20 - Shoot a beggar day

Anybody who shoots a beggar (and has photo or video proof) wins £20.
The more beggars you shoot, the more money you get!

I honestly don't know what goes on in the minds of my people... blink.gif

January 1 New Year's Day
March 22 Founder's Day
May 26 Stevie Nicks Day
July 10 President's Day (OOC: since it's my birthday, why not?)
First Monday in September Labor Day
September 11 Rememberance Day
Last Thursday in November Thanksgiving
December 25 Christmas Day

Those are the official holidays when banks, federal offices, schools, etc. are closed. By standard practice, government offices and schools are also closed the day after Thanskgiving and on New Year's Eve. Offices are only open for a half day on Christmas Eve, but stores stay open until midnight by general practice (not a law, but the Sarzonian government adds a small incentive to stores that remain open later.
