Atlantian Oceania Hockey Cup*

The Tropics of Vilita hereby invite the nations of Atlantian Oceania to participate in the first Regional Ice Hockey Tournament to be held in Vilita... blah blah blah...

This tournament will be a test for future tournaments in that:

RP Bonus may or may not improve your chances of winning. NOTE: RPing will NEVER hurt your chances of winning. But, just because you RP alot and your opponent rarely, it does not mean you will necessarily have an advantage over them due to RP Bonus at the time of scorination. However, the chances of having an advantage will be greater the more you RP.

Scores will not be posted at regular intervals. There will be no "RP Deadline." Since RPing is not going to cumulatively improve your ranking in the competition, there is no need to "wait" for RP's or give a "deadline". Your RP score will be counted at time of scorination, regardless of whether it is 2 hours or 2 days after the last scorination. To be realistic, don't expect Matchday 3 scores 2 hours after matchday 2 scores, it was just an example.

Hopefully this will take any un-due stress off the RPer. Do not stress over "needing to get an RP done." just post whatever you want whenever you want, and maybe it will improve your chance of winning, maybe it won't. Just have fun

The competition will hopefully consist of a group stage with 5 teams per group with the top 2 in each group (the number of groups depends on signups) advancing to the next round. Teams that have participated in the Don Cherry cup of hockey will have a higher base scorination rank than teams that have not. Please post your rosters in this thread as well. All Group 1 matches will be played in Yeaddin, Vilita. All Group 2 matches will take place in Alikki-Corra, Vilita

The Only Atlantian Oceania Nation ever to have won the Don Cherry Cup (unless Tanah Burung ever turn up), Starblaydia, would like to enter their team. Dwarves or Humans? Well we haven't quite figured that one out yet.
