WEIGHTS AND MEASURES:The metric system is the legal standard, but some Wulaishenese units remain in use.
HOLIDAYS:Wulaishenese New Year, 1 January; Spring Festival, from the first to the third day of the first moon of the lunar calandar, usually in February; Maha Day, 12 May; and National Day, 1, and 2 August.
POPULATION
According to the WNC (Wulaishenese National Census), the population of Wulaishen is 3.5 Billion and increasing at the rate of 7.1% a year.Average density is about 340 per sq km. The 5 largest cities are Xieng Kuang (30,000,000 Metro Pop.) Wonhhui (24,000,000 Metro Pop.) Yok Ban Hai (20,000,000) Naka (12,000,000) and Jiushan City (10,000,000).Wulaishen also has 80 cities over 2 million in population.

ETHNIC GROUPS
Brown skinned Wulaishenese (Indo-Mongoloid racial stocks) constituted 74% of the total population, according to the WNC.Important minority groups include Falcanians and Indigenous Cebu Wulaishenese peoples, Cebus are of Indo-Negroid Stock and make up 22% of the minority population in Wulaishen. The minority groups have an economic and social status of consideralbly greater importance than their numbers would indicate.The Cebus are active in the entertainment and sports trade.Many Cebus have intermarried with Wulaishenese and their children have become Wulaishenese.
LANGUAGE
There are three official languages, Wulaishenese, understood by 90% of the population, English, understood by 30% of the population, and Chen Na, The Cebu language, understood by 50% of the population.Additionally, 50 native tongues are also spoken.The teaching of English is mandatory in Wulaishenese schools.
RELIGION
Freedom of Religion is provided in the Wulaishenese Constitution, Most of the population belongs to the Marasuhra Temple, which is represented by the Renas, People personally appointed by the Eternal Phoenix the exercise clerical powers over the believers.In religious texts, Maha is a Dragon that is present in all things on land, living and nonliving. He resides in an underground city, known in religious texts as Lianninmaha, accompanied by hundreds of different demi gods, known as the Mana. They believe in Suhra, a female phoenix said to live high above the earth on a star, named Ahamninnail accompanied by Thousands of Demi Gods, known as the Anam. IT is believed in Wulaishen that one day the Phoenix shall drift down from her home, and the Dragon shall descend, they will meet together, and a Tiger will form, known as Metamahasuhra, and will create a new earth, void of law, and live and rule over it.
ARMED FORCES
Recently, Wulaishen adopted a consciption law providing for 3 years' service in any branch of the Wulaishenese Armed Forces.The yearly conscription is estimated at 730,000-830,000.The army, officially called Maha's Army, had been divided into 6 field armies.Total active miltary strength is estimated at 30,000,000.In addition, there is a huge reserve force composed of 100,000,000 men and women.The navy is somewhat large, the estimated total tonnage of war vessels being 3,300,000.The air force, known as Suhra's Wings, was estimated at 300,000 planes, a sizeable number being jet fighters. The exact personnel numbers of the Suhra's Wings is belived to be 4,000,000.Wulaishen is paying great attention to militia training in schools, factories, and rural communes.In school, the emphasis is on basic theroectical training.

HISTORY
The Wulaishenese are descendants of ancient Asiaigese, Who in the 6th century overthrew the Cebu-influenced Funnan empire which, for 400 years had ruled Wulaishen.According to legends, the founder of the Asi dynasty was Wu Lai Maha, the incarnate son of Suhra, one of the Maha Gods, and the name of the nation, Wulaishen (Wu Yai Bao ) derives from his name.

From the 10 to the 14th century, after years of miltary expansion, the Asiais reached thier apogee.Their kingdom expanded over most of the region.The capital city, was a flourishing complex of great temples, palaces, and shrines.In the susequent centuries, however, continuning attacks by the Mlo and the Falconians weakened the kingdom.By the end of the 18th century much of Cambodia had become a Falconian and Mlo condominum.Years later, to withstand further Mlo and Falconian encroachments, the king of Wulaishen placed the country under Pacitalian protection.Pacitalia introduced Wulaishen to the modern world and provided some stimulus to the emeregence of Wulaishenese nationalism, Nationalism, however, received it's greatest during the Disputed Mlo control of Wulaishen during the Great Civil War under the reign of Mlo king Thanh Go La, who came to the throne in the 20th century.After the Mlo kindom dissolved 14 years later, the Wulaishenese voted to end the Pacitalian protection, but the Pacitalian returned to Wulaishenwith the aid of Allied powers and re-established their control by a modus vivendi agreement signed on 13, Jan of that year.On 1 Aug., Wulaishen became a consitutional monarchy, and was granted independence within the Pacitalian union on 2, Aug, 1949.
King Thanh Go La, meanwhile, had assumed leadership of Wulaishen's growing nationalist movement, and on 17, Oct, 1953, was granted full military control of his country by Pacitalia.Thereupon, Wulaishenese forces participated on their own in the defense of their territory.Thanh Go La, a skilled politician, abdicated in 1953 in favor of his father and mother, King Tang So De, and Queen Naka, and then emerged as premier with unanimous support of the ntional legislature.King So De died on 31 March 1960, but Prince Thanh Go La, although retaining the title of chief of state, did not return to the throne. During the Pacitalian-Wulaishenese war, the Wulai-Rouge in adjacent Falconia invaded the country (1954), supported Communist bands of local Falcanians, and sent aid to the Wulai-Jihaus (Free Wulaishenese), an Anti Pacitalian, antigovernment guerrilla held by the former Mlo puppet premier.

The Dat Ji agreements of July 1954, which ended the Pacitalian-Wulaishenese war, secured the withdrawal of Pacitalian and Wulai-Rouge troops from Wulaishen and the surrender of most of the Wulai-Jihaus to the governament.Unresolved boundary problems with Falcania led to tensions in 1956, when Cambodia temporarily closed the Fei Rong river to traffic from Falcania. In 2001 , when Falcania and Wulaishen broke diplomatic relations over the question of sovereignity over the temple of Kai Phrai Vihas.In 2002, the International Court of Justice found that the temple was situated in territory under the sovereignity of Wulaishen and in consequence, Falcania shall withdraw any forces of guards stationed in the area.

THE PEOPLE OF WULAISHEN
The Cebus
The Cebus are Wulaishen's indigenous people (similar to real world Blacks with a hint of Asian)The are typically characterized by their brown to dark brown skin and varying hair structures, from straight, to wooly. They are of fair height, the average height of a Cebuyan male is 6 feet. They are active in Wulaishenese politics, and Wulaishenese culture. They have a distinct culture and a distinct language, a majority of Cebuyans reside on the Western half of Wulaishen. The most famous Cebuyan was Cao Gu Mei, who led Wulaishenese Government forces during the first Rebellion against Pacitalia during the Wulaishenese Civil War.

Maha Wulaishenese
They are the majority in Wulaishen, they also have a distinct culture (similar to RL Thai and Vietnamese). Their ethnic origins in AO are unknown.
It is believed in Wulaishen that they originated genectically from the ancient Asai people.They are typically smaller in stature than the Cebus.

Mu Tai Wulaishenese
Another sizeable majority, like the Cebus, they speak Chen Na, but a slightly different dialect of Chen Na, that is written in Zhang Fa Characters instead of being Romanized like traditional Chen Na.They are populated in the direct Coastal States of Wulaishen, such as Rao Hev and Sang To.
They have a very distinct culture that is rapidly disintegrating due to the urbanization of most Mu Tais.

WULAISHEN TODAY
The population of Wulaishen is 70% urban, according to the WNC. The bulk of the population resides on the Northern edge of the nation, in outlying suburbs and metropolitan areas. By far, the largest metropolitan area in Wulaishen is the Xieng Kuang-Naka Metro Area, with over 50 million people living in the area. The Xieng Kuang-Naka metro area and it's 23 suburban districts are known collectively as the High Area. This area, with the areas of Xieng Kuang and Naka combined, spans over 10,000 sq km.Another sizeable metro area 40 miles south of the High Area is the area known as the Trai Phu District, Composed of Jiushan (10,000,000), De Yay (1,500,000), Tat Suk (1,300,000). Najuh ( 5.400.000). and Sikuh Ua (9,800,000). This area also spans over 10,000 sq. km.
LIFE OF A WULAISHENESE
-The GDP of an average Wulaishenese family is 30,000 NR
-Two in in every four Wulaishenese are members of the Wulaishenese Inactive Military Forces.
-3 out of 10 Wulaishenese have jobs associated with the local or national government.

DIVISION OF MAHA"S ARMY

Maha's Army, Wulaishen's active ground forces is one of the developing military forces in Atlantian Oceania.Maha Army's manpower is part volunteer, part conscription. The Army is divided into three smaller divisions, called Banners, and six armies.
The makeup of Wulaishenese forces is 50% Male, and 50% Female.
LIU KUANG'S ARMY (1st Banner)
Mission: To provide the mechanized infantry element in the Maha's Army.

Heavily Trained Infantry, composed of raw, mechanized, highly trained infantry.

Heavily Mechanized National Guard type defense unit.

SPECIAL FORCES IN LIU KUANGS ARMY
Maha's Fist
Specialized Highly Trained Divison made for combat at adverse conditions, such as nightime, employing guerilla tactics, and steath tactics.
Maha's Bite
Rare to see in deployment. Very Highly Trained. Used to penetrate enemy lines and change the tide of battle. Specialized infantry.
THAO NEI'S SUPPORT DIVISION (Second Banner)
To provide logistical support to the Maha's Army.
MAIN UNITS
Logistics Command
To provide Basic logistics for all off Wulaishenese Military Forces.
Combat Logistics Command
To provide logistics in combat situations.
Air Logistics Command
No Patch Associated.
Provide attack helicopters and support aircraft for the army, such as cargo planes, cargo helicopters, attack helicopters.
FEI FEI ARMY
Mission:A Secondary mechanized force, primary goal is cooperation with the other three units and quick reaction, usually the first troops Wulaishen deploys.
