This topic is for all nations to express any opinions they have on the Xilian move (details of which are found in the Regional Map 2.0 thread) to avoid more clutter in the map thread.

- Become more central in the region to take advantage of a larger market
- Play a larger role in trading blocs becoming prevalent in the South Cove area

- Heavy pollution makes the area nearly uninhabitable
- Sicknesses acquired from this pollution are widespread
After the move Xile plans to introduce a more rigorous program to protect the environment, as well as using more fuel efficient means of production. This is done hopes of staving off a similar situation in the new environment.
A few rebel holdouts exist, but all remaining after the grace period of the move will be declared expatriates, their citizenships revoked, and further immigration into the area from these people will be processed the same as all others.
We expect that only perhaps a few thousand will remain, and these will consist of farmers and their workforce. We will drop all claims to the land, and will not resist against any other nation's will to claim it. We will not answer defense calls from these remainders, unless it is a humanitarian problem.
The move begins in the next six months, as New Babylonia is already being constructed to be much more energy efficient. Xile will listen to all complaints from residents of the part of the region, but ultimately will have to make the move regardless of all opposition.
Xile requests the aid of Abattoir and THS in this venture, as it would need a small standing force to protect construction of the city and ward of acts of agression while Xilian Forces watch over the old land area to make sure the move goes smoothly. Xile would also appreciate aid from the VOIA to keep its ears and eyes open in terrorist networks to find knowledge of terrorist threats that may be coalescing.
Any monetary investments in the creation of this new nation would be issued in the form of stock, which would raise in prices as corporations vied for control of land with a greatly increased value.
The city is located at the southeastern part of the landmass, where the rivers(?) converge.
To promote unity within the nation about the move, the government of Xile plans to
A) Adopt a new flag for all members of the population moving to the area
 Offer tax breaks for all early settlers and corporations to move to the area

The Federation of Novus Atlantica has no objection to this relocation. Our only concern was that of the environment, but you have answered that question for us already as you plan to be more environmentally conscious.

The Tropics of Vilita are in favor of the move, as long as Xile assures the region that it will also aid overtime in the re-establishment of a sustainable environment in the northern lands so they can be reinhabited in the future. And Of course give details of a flag and it shall be yours. |

Xile will allocate funds each fiscal year to be used for the purpose of revitalizing the northern environment. Also, Xile wishes to garner the aid of the rest of the region in this venture, as we believe this could become a regional problem.

There is more than enough room for both to the east of SE. ensure Bullet Wounds is in "Stars" and not AO

Soul Expression wishes to express its concern with the desires of Xile to move to such close proximity to our nation. In light of the environment Xile is leaving in its wake, it is disquieting for us to contemplate the same happening to our area. |

We have been living on this land ever since GenGangrene1 arrived with the birth of Soul Expression, and have no intention of being uprooted. We have been building roads and infrastructures, all in anticipation of our independance.
We have assisted Soul Expression in the construction of their port at the tip of the westward river, where we share a border. We have also been investing in building along the coastline in anticipation of increased trade due to the triple pass crated by the new canal, something we think Xile may covet.
Due to the investments not to mention our love for the land we live on, we have no intentions of moving.
We wouldn't mind having Xile as our neighbors to the north however.

Xile has already addressed the pollution problem, as expressed above. Our proximity to Soul Expression would be beneficial, if anything.
As for Bullet Wounds wanted the exact same path of land as I, I believe an arbitrator is needed. I still do not plan on giving this up. |

I believe for safety matters it is only logical to grant Xile first choice on this land. Bullet Wounds would be entitled only to a very small bit of land to begin with so there shouldnt be much lost here. |

The Xilian army moves into place to protect the vested interests of the nation. Under orders of the Senate and their newly elected leader, President Adonis Lauir, they refuse to move as the rest of the Xilian populace arrives daily.
The navy has regrouped upon the river, and the air-force remains on ready in the old Xilian territories until new bases can be built for their operation. |
