| Season 13 Update There have been close finishes before, but never has the WPL ever come down to a direct confrontation for the league title. That is until now! After 13 weeks of Season 15 of the WPL, Mikey Town FC leads The Strongest by 2 points in the standings. Week 14 will see The Strongest take on Mikey Town in the Mountains. Already the Grandor Multiplex is rearranging seats for what some have called "The Greatest Match in Winchestian History". It is expectd that up to 10,000 seats will be taken from the Rugby stadium to make room for the fans wanting to see the action live. In addition, big screens will be available at the rubgy field and outside the Mulitplex for those who can not get tickets. For the first time, the Grandor Mountains will be filled with the sounds of football, not rugby for the whole week! |
