| So hows up for some olympic games, of sorts. I had a system worked out to use on my old region, I can implement it here. Whos interested? |

| This version I did goe sliek this. You enter your nation into the areas you want to take part in. Based upon population and ecconomy you have a number. That numer is the chance you have on winning. Like you have a number 4 and yours and everyone elses number adds up to 20. You have a 4 in 20 chance of winning, the winner is picked formt hose chances. That is the extream short version of how it works, it is far more complicated. There will be numerous events. |

| I best put this up now. Some things still might change but this is how the first one will go. Note, future host nations can change it slightly and add new games and events etc. ------- The Atlantican Games Atlantican Oceania?s answer to the Olympics The Events Strength Gauntlet ? Traditional Strength and Agility games like Javelin and Sprint Equine Games ? Horse Racing and Show jumping events Chess ? Chess Championships Table Tennis ? Regional champions at their best Swimming Gala ? Different swimming challenges Sky Diving ? Arial Acrobatics The (A Nations Name!) Region Run ? A marathon across the mainland The Tachbe Regional Yachting Race ? Sailing Yachts will travel round the whole region in a bid against time. (Mid stop offs will be decided by host nation) The games will be decided by the host nation, each year new ones should be added. The Winners Gold, Silver and Bronze medals are given out to the 1st 2nd and 3rd places in events like normal games. Nations can enter one team or contestant per event, they are given a number depending on their population size (once all entrants are in, their numbers are taken all at once). A figure of their economy is also taken. Each nation is given an extra 50% of their points and they can distribute them how they want between the games. Only one nations entrants per person please. Population to nearest 10 million + economy digit Frightening - 5 All-Consuming - 5 Powerhouse - 5 Thriving - 4 Very Strong - 4 Strong - 4 Good ? 3 Fair - 3 Reasonable - 3 Developing - 2 Struggling - 2 Weak - 2 Fragile - 1 Basket Case - 1 Imploded - 1 E.g. Pop 45 mil. Economy good. 5+3=8. Every win gains 3 extra points - Every draw gains 2 extra points - Every loss gains 1 extra point The contestants in these events are put into 3 groups. In each group through probability a winner is chosen. There is a simple example. 4, 7, 2, 8 and 9 (example numbers). The first country would have a 4 in 30 chance of winning. Though this chance a winner would be picked. This would be repeated for the winner of the 3 groups resulting in a gold, silver and bronze for each of them. In future games a nations points will be maintained. The Hosts Any nation that has achieved Gold can make a bid to host the games and the nation who gets it is decided by the previous nations who have hosted it. No nation may host the games twice. The first games will be played out in several locations. They will be grouped in twos in 4 locations. The two regional events will be in all involved nations (The run will be mainland nations only, the race will be costal nations only for hosting). |

I would like ot stress the host poll is not officaly connected to this and will not decide who is hosting, as I have stated in the plan there will be three host locations. Though I did not state how these will be decided in the last post there is a system. |

| This time round you won't have to do anything. FUture games when you host the whole lot you will have to opperate the system yourslef. A hosting nation has to have a good ecconomy and/or a high population and/or extream high popularity! |

| I have paired the 6 hostable events together than are remotly simmiler. All we need are 3 nations, preferably with a good ecconomy able to host it and even better a large population and they will be assigned accoriding to who would be best at what. |

| Its logistics. You get large countries with good ecconomies to host the Olympics, you dont get Luxembourg, Monaco, Andorra and Vatican hosting it because they simply can't support it. I ma not saying small nations will be exclusded I am saying larger nations will get preference. |

| Well I had the whole thign laye dout in my last region a while back, somone else losly suggested the olympics after somone did a football league so I left it up to them sending what dat aI had to them to sort out and I brought the idea here for eventualy use. Maybe the same person or not. Good luck to them anyway, atleast they are getting some sucsess. |
