Misrantis Under Vilitan Control

As of -smudge- o'clock on this, the -smudge- day of -smudge, smudge- The fiefdom of Misrantis officially recognizes the rule of the Vilitan Empire of Atlantian Oceania. The Vilitan Empire has been long inactive in the empirical arena, however the mutally beneficial situation providing an exchange of technology and religion between the two entities will prove useful in the development of new technology in both nations and the re-establishment of culture within the Vilitan Empire.
Misrantis, a small sea-faring nation, and the Misrantian people will now be eligible for full citizenship within the Vilitan Empire. One of the first to take advantage of this was experienced Football/Soccer player Rahman Omer Hilali of Misrantis, who was able to get a rush on his citizenship application to gain Vilitan nationality prior to the official submission of rosters for the AOCAF 16 tournament. Hilali, who was unable to compete on the international stage due to the non-participation of Misrantis in such events in the past, however, while the experienced Hilali has jumped at the chance to play for the Vilitan Empire entry into AOCAF 16, he has not denied his desire to one day develop an international squad in Misrantis and perhaps coach at the international level for his country.
It is believed that exposure to higher profile sporting events is one of the benefits of the situation from the Misrantian standpoint, adding a new form of entertainment for the nation that has been, for the most part, deprived of organized sport on a large scale, being limited only to shantily organized expositions on an inrregular basis. But mostly, the Misrantians will be gaining direction in goverment, as stated in the most recent National Fact Sheet of Misrantis, "The medium-sized government appears to have no policy direction whatsoever." It is unknown whether thin dogs will be allowed to be imported onto the Vilitan mainland.
It is also rumored that, in the association, the Vilitan Empire will gain knowledge of some of the mystical powers believed to be possessed by the people of Misrantis
