(OOC: I don't know if this merits an RP, but I figured I'd play it safe in case it was wanted.)
By Decree of His Imperial Majesty, the 59th Overlord of the Footballian Empire, Torm XV, the Democratic Empire of Footballia will once again be known as the Empire of Footballia. The decree itself reads as follows:
| QUOTE | We hereby declare that from this day, 4 nSeptember, 1288 [2006], the Empire shall be officially known as the Empire of Footballia rather than the Democratic Empire of Footballia, as it was known for the first eight centuries of its existence. The Empire shall continue to operate in a democratic process, with the Forum and Chancellor having the same amount of power as before. We repeat that the change is purely aesthetic, and is merely a return to our roots and it will also allow for closer bonds with our newfound allies.
