To the member states of the Strategic Alliance of Autocratic States:
For quite some time, the Democratic Empire of Greater Footballia has debated on whether it would be beneficial to us to join one of the many alliances in AO. After much thought, we have determined that the best course of action is to join with other autocratic nations in the SAAS. While some may be put off by the "Democratic" in our name, we can assure you that all of our recent efforts have been focused on giving that Congress body as little power as is possible in order to avoid another republican revolution. This process is currently going very well. On that note, we again request to be admitted into this illustrious league of Autocratic states, and ask that you duly consider this letter.

To His Imperial Majesty, Torm XV, and representatives,
We have expected for some time that the Empire of Footballia would wish to join our Alliance of nations, and have noted with pleasure the recent legislative alterations in your illustrious nation.
The Protectorate of Starblaydia, in particular, is exceedingly willing to join hands across the Bekk to a nation it has ancient links with, after all the Daii warriors were excellent horsemen, as we believe ancient Footballians were.
As such, we would like to officially welcome the Empire of Footballia into the Strategic Alliance at this most perilous of times when all around us is devolving into disorder and threat. All your representative need do is make his way to Lavingrad in the Nation of Abattoir to officially sign the Lavingrad Pact and become the sixth member of this great and powerful alliance.

Orwalç Katyut was pleased as he flew back to the Empire. Footballia was now officially a part of the SAAS, and it was partly thanks to him. Granted, the Overlord, the Foreign Advisor and the Chancellor had done the important stuff, and he had come mostly because he was ordered to do so. However, he had still signed the treaty, which Orwalç felt that he might be soon promoted, although no hint of this had come from higher up. As he stepped off the plane and retrieved his luggage, he had a certain spring in his step. |
