Economic Crisis in Oliverry!!
Yesterday, an Economic Crisis seems to have been declared in Oliverry. The latest Exchange Rates show the Oliver Dollar (Ø) being worth þ2.48, which is one of the lowest values ever for the Oliver Dollar. Gas Prices went up as well, going from Ø0.92/litre 2 days ago to Ø1.12/litre yesterday. Millions of workers were fired yesterday, as a part of many companies to reduce spending. The GDP per capita even dropped by 50%, going from þ52,000 to þ26,000.
To try to address some of the issues, President Twaxlit addressed the nation yesterday. He said that this economic crisis might have been caused by a sudden drop of the import, being caused by a decision of the Neo-Democrats to propose a law banning any import from other alliances than the SDL, which passed in both chambers on the same day because of the many parties supporting this. He did veto this law, but a clause in the bill made that the law had not to be signed by the president to be accepted. He told all the nation to petition about this law so that a national referendum can be done. His first action about this will be to propose a law in the Assemblée Nationale so that unemployment checks can be sent to all those who got fired. As well, he told people to be strong in this period of great crisis and that he hopes this thing will be ruled soon.
Elections to be held in a month!!
President Twaxlit said that, in accordance with the electoral law, he declares that elections will be declared in a month, which means on Monday, November 21st 2028. Every party recognized by the Commission Électorale d'Oliverry/Oliverry Electoral Commission can participate to the next elections.

Here's what it is supposed to read...
"The latest Exchange Rates show the Oliver Dollar (Ø) being worth þ2.48" should be read as "The latest Exchange Rates show the Oliver Dollar (Ø) being worth þ0.50"
"The GDP per capita even dropped by 50%, going from þ52,000 to þ26,000." should be replaced by "The GDP per capita even dropped by 50%, going from þ13,000 to þ6,500."

Yesterday, elections were held in Oliverry. The result was a surprise win by Johanne Durocher, leader of the Parti Néo-Démocrate. But, Option Oliverry has the most seats in both Houses. The PND is even the party with the 3rd highest
