Richard Menszae sent a letter to all the members of ASPIRE in regards to the situation in Djacor-Rysonia.

QUOTE

An open letter to ASPIRE;

The situation in Djacor-Rysonia has escalated, Starblaydia has sent a military force into Djacor-Rysonia. We have been discussing the situation at SDL and believe that such hostilities are not required. We have formulated a 3 step plan to resolve the situation in Djacor-Rysonia.

1st, Stabilise the situation militarily, enforce a truce between all sides that have engaged themselves militarily

2nd, Facilitate the running of a referendum to determine once and for all the wishes of the Djacor-Rysonian people, providing security and stability for an effective and accurate referendum

3rd, help the formation of a transitional government.

Once a transitional government has been formed the nation should be able to run itself, however there is still the issue of nuclear weapons, nuclear observers should be able to be involved from the 2nd step. And could posibly still continue after the transitional government has been formed.

To: The Leaders of the SDL
From: Ari Elisar, Prime Minister, Confederated Colonies of Casari

The escalation of the current crisis in Chacor is something which, because of the actions of several parties, has become an event requiring military action.

With cooperation from other ASPIRE nations, of course, the Casaran government would be willing to deploy a military force to Chacor, the territory currently claimed by Djacor-Rysonia, or the surrounding seas, to serve in a peacekeeping role.

However, in conjunction with this, we feel that the unilateral invasion of Chacor/Djacor-Rysonia by Starblaydia is the prime issue that should be addressed before any decision is made on force deployments in a peacekeeping role, as sending peacekeeping troops will have an adverse effect on the military's ability to react to further regional issues.

To All SDL and ASPIRE Nations:

Stop the talking now! We need to stop the Starblaydian menace before they capture many states and try to stop them from building nuclear weapons. Djacor-Ryssonia is a peaceful trustworthy state worthy of nuclear weapons. We know as we supplied them with nuclear weapons and only did it with extensive testing. Now if Starblaydia could mind their own buisness and stop this it would be much appreciated if not we will send Milchamian troops in there to stop the Starblaydians before they use more "peacekeeping operations" like these to increase their power and eventually become the regional hegemon of AO.

Therefore we urge you all to help us and stop the Starblaydian menace before they take over Atlantian Oceania. And if they do don't say that you weren't warned.

Great Leader Tim Gonnenberg.

From: King Alexander Seifert IV of Geisenfried
To: Leaders of the SDL and ASPIRE

The Royal Federation, at this point, is opposed to the idea of full military intervention against Starbladyia as suggested by the government in Milchama. Also, as of current, it is our opinion that trying to insert an SDL-ASPIRE police force into the situation would destabilize it by threatening Starblaydia rather than bringing peace. It should be noted that from recent intelligence that the Starblaydians seems to have switched sides from threatening the established government of Chacor to disposing the Djacor-Rysonian government, which seems to have formed under questionable circumstances and whose knowledge concerning when the usage of nuclear weaponry is appropiate seems dubious. If Milchama would like to present evidence to the contrary, our position concerning that might change. However, it seems to us that attacking Starbladyia head on is a rash and hasty decision.

In short, if the situation takes a turn for the worse, we will be more than happy to donate forces for a coordinated police action, but for now, we are content to stay the course and encourage no action.
