Posted by: Az-cz Dec 7 2006, 03:26 AM
Well it's time again for the Atlantian Oceania Kleptochase Competition. Once again each country will be allowed to send up to four representatives to compete in this competition. After we have established the numbers of non Az-czzers competing in the tournament interested fans from the Az-cz junior ranks will be used to fill out the numbers. This tournament will be of the format of an Open tournament. That means that all four types of tournaments, Strength, Speed, Technique and Maze will be used. For returning competitors you may enter people who have competed on the pro tour, but competitors who have already clinched their way will not be allowed. Also each nation that has a member guaranteed on to the pro tour, they may enter an extra fifth competitor.

Remember that these tournaments serve as qualifications for the tour as well as regional pride. The 8 members who advance to the quarterfinals are automatically onto the tour and the 24 who make the round of 32 are entered into the qualifiers for the tour.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact the Az-cz Kleptochase homepage at www.kleptochase.or.a-c.

OOC:

For an introduction to the rules of Kleptochase please visit http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/Kleptochase

Each character recieves 80 points. No more than 50 in any category and no less than 5 in any category.

The United Isles of Myrtannia is most intrigued by this 'Kleptochase' competition, and would like to enter the maximum entrants allowed by the regulations. We believe it is an excellent singular opportunity to expand our sporting repitoire, learn more about one of Az-cz's national sports, and improve relations between our two nations. To provide the best information on the first Myrtannian Kleptochase entrants, here are official bios put together by (yes, you guessed it) unpaid interns who believe they're getting work experience at AIR 4 by doing these kinds of tasks.

Strength: 10
Speed: 20
Maze: 10
Technique: 40

Once Myrtannia's most notorious cat burglar, she's served her time, and currently works as a security consultant for the Halosen Police Department. She's the best technique chaser Myrtannia will be sending, and is sure to confound opponents with her 'mad thief skillz' as she's put it.

Strength: 50
Speed: 5
Maze: 15
Technique: 10

Brant Reinmiller is a special guest on the Myrtannian contingent, currently employed as a defensive tackle for the Vanhaanen Panthers MGL club. He's the strength specialist, and should dominate in any strength tests. Unfortunately, he may be prone to tackling opponents rather than just puttin two hands on them when he's 'The Law'.

Strength: 20
Speed: 20
Maze: 20
Technique: 20

One half of the sister tandem Myrtannia is sending, Aiko is thought to be the most well-rounded in all of the categories. She has no one outstanding skill, but should be decent in each of the types of races.

Strength: 5
Speed: 30
Maze: 30
Technique: 15

'Yaji-chan' is the younger sister of Aiko Hirota, and the speed demon of the UIM contingent. Her ability to navigate obstacle courses with footspeed and quick thinking may make her a contender to do something of consequence... when she's not goofing off, that is.

A Few New Bazalonian Chasers will enter the other existing Andrew Rather is the only existing Bazalonian chaser that re-enters

Hector Golf

Strength: 25
Speed: 25
Maze: 25
Technique: 25

Malcolm Juliet

Strength: 10
Speed: 20
Maze: 30
Technique: 40

Andrew Rather has decided to withdraw himself from the AOKCC after realising that he may infact not be eligible due to an obscure rule which states chasers who are Auto-invited to the next tour are not eligible for pre-tour qualification events such as AOKCC.

And so the Bazalonian KleptoChase Comittee has decided to expand it to the full four competitiors

Ferdinand Osso

Strength: 30
Speed: 10
Maze: 20
Technique: 20

Racheal Ford

Strength: 10
Speed: 15
Maze: 25
Technique: 30

OOC: 5 points to be taken off each discipline of my first 2 chasers.

So Milchama will drink the kool aid and enter. Also could I know who has qualified and who hasn't? Because I think I'm right but I have no idea.

I think Kinch is in because he won a tournament. Martin probably has the points so that's two gone.

Marty Kochenon will enter to help his confidence. (Anti-strength savant)

Marcus Lotton will enter to get more experience. (Savant)

Kendrick Hemmelvee will enter. (Strength specialist)

(All of these people already have stats of some sort. For RPing porposes this is how they compete)

That leaves two with the extra person and they are:

Eitan Eliahu
Strength: 10
Speed: 25
Maze: 20
Technique: 25

Liam Tyreesh
Strength: 10
Speed: 40
Maze: 15
Technique: 15

Luppers is not entering because he wants some time off. He will be at the NSKCC though.

I can't know who's qualified and who isn't until the end of the Human Open. Kinch definitely is qualfied as a tourney winner. I think Martin, and Kochenon are as well. As soon as the last event ends I'll let you know.

As of now there are 11 chasers signed up. Bazalonia can submit one more chaser and Milchama can submit 2 more chasers. Many more chasers are still needed to get this off the ground.
