Tonight, at 9:30pm a bomb explode in a party and bar area of Starblaydia's capitol Jhanna. There is no information available yet on wounded or killed people.
An anonymous video found in the internet says, that the "Latao Liberation Front" calls for the "Patriot War".
The man in the video demands that any troops in Latin waters must leave Latao's territory and also threats the nations of Abbatoir and Lamoni.
It's not known if the video message is genuine. |

OOC: If you can tell me how you - a nation I've just been at war with, don't forget - realistically managed to get explosives into my nation, where we spend more on Police, Law & Order and Defence than Lamoni's government has done since its creation, then I'll let you do it.
Otherwise I have two options:
1) Ignore you
2) Bomb the -explicitive removed- out of the rest of your nation |

OOC: Indeed, 5 sentences is not enough for this sort of RP.
"Reality teached us." -- Reality needs to learn proper grammar. And if reality has taught you anything, it should be that borders of nations at war, such as the U.S.A., are extremely tight and well protected and that getting anything explosive across a border would probably impossible.
So, you could RP that the discovered video included a brief explanation of how some of the explosives were broght into Starblaydia or something... Just give everyone something to work with...

Think of something more-equivalent to North Korea or Nazi Germany in as far as law & order and security goes. If you let off a bomb in one of those you'd better be a suicide bomber, because they'd make you wish you hadn't been born. |

If you can make them from everyday-materials and not have to try and smuggle obvious bomb-parts in or some such, plus somehow manage to get some Latin agents into the country unnoticed, then you sure can try. |

OOC: Latao, NationStates RPing convention dictates that you must get the agreement of the nation you want to victimise in a terrorist attack before you carry out an RP of that. Also, you'll need to explain how a war-torn country managed to get through the security in Jhanna. If you don't do any of those, Star is well within his rights to ignore you. |

It's the stated goal of the leaders of Latao to march into Starblaydia one day...but it's currently absolutely no military possibility.
