There is no repression executed against the citizen for the act of "burning the own state flag", but it's possible for authorities to punish for problems such as trash/garbage, public trouble, disturbing public traffic etc.

Short stay in prison (a few days, no more than one week)

Medium II
Medium stay in prision (no longer than one month)

All the crazy things history teaches us; such as execution, gulag, work camp slavery, guantanamo or whatever...

That brings the question, how you would implement that on an international level. You can't just "place" the delinquent in some other nation (as he is citizen of Nova Roma or "stateless" if u withdraw his citizenship) and expect that nation to "feed" the delinquet as some kind of asylum seeker.

So our questions are:

Would you seek some kind of contracts for that situation ?
And in case, u won't find any "partners" for that what should happen to that man then ?

In the sense of freedom, it is prohibited to punish citizens for critics of the own state, the “system”, the institution or single policies and authorities, which includes the act of “burning the own flag”
People of other countries can however be taken under arrest and are usually returned to their country of origin at their own costs.

It would only be illegal to burn the Starblaydi flag if we placed some kind of value in its existence as an institution of sorts. We 'pledge alliegiance' to Starblaydia and the Lord-Protector, not some piece of patrioticly-coloured cloth like some countries, that do not need to be named here.

We do not exile them to another nation. We exile them to island provinces with no hope of ever returning to the mainland.

These are not, however, prison colonies. Think of it this way:

You burn a flag, sell Roman secrets to another nation, organize political resistance, or otherwise organize resistance against the government and you are a Roman citizen (something that is not easy to obtain) then you will find yourself exiled to an island, very much like Hawaii.

These island cities are just like mainland cities with the only difference being that there are exiles amongst the general population.

It is legal to burn the Krytenian flag...as long as you brought it yourself. Any other instances of flag burning are treated as criminal damage and community service or short custodial sentences.

The Falcanian Law concerning flag burning is pretty much the same for every other law: You break it, you bought it. This goes for pretty much anything, criminal damage, theft (breaking the bond of owner and owned), manslaughter, and fraud. Murder carries a life prison sentence.

Flag burning is legal as a political statement, but don't expect the government or the Police to help you if you get beaten up by a mob while doing so.

So... that means that there's thousands of political resistors and opponents of the regime collected in a normal city with very little control? Isn't that asking for trouble?

As for burning the flag...why not? We can sell them flags to burn smile.gif
