Repeal "Legalise Euthanasia"

A proposal to repeal a previously passed resolution

Category: Repeal

Resolution: #43

Proposed by: Trober

Description: UN Resolution #43: Legalise Euthanasia (Category: Human Rights; Strength: Strong) shall be struck out and rendered null and void.

Argument: Whereas; the government and/or medical facilities have no right to end an innocent person's life.

Whereas; Euthenasia is an expensive alternative to suicide and will be added to either the medical liability or insurance of the family.

Whereas; the practice of Euthanisia can lead to the governmental and/or medical genocide of some races of people and/or the the disabled.

Whereas; people can chose to refuse treatment and therefore die without being a burden to the taxpayers.

Therefore let it be resolved that we appeal Resolution #43 upon the passage of a majority of the UN Members voting in the affirmative.

NO NO NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Human Euthanasia has been legal in Lamoni since it was founded. I don't want the UN to tell me that someone who is going to die in six months (or less) can't choose to end it. If anything, the choice should be left up to the individual nations themselves.
