Bio-Cybernetic Breakthrough

by Jonathon Selki
LNN - Lienese National News Bulletin

The Lienese Bio-Engineering and Cybernetic Research Center (BECRC), headed by international acclaimed bio-engineer Marcus Aldrek, has just announced a stunning breakthrough in cybernetic implants. The new retinal implants were successfully tested yesterday in a combat field test with an elite unit of Lienese Special Forces. "These implants allow the soldiers to zero targets much quicker and more accurately than unaided, with a kill ration of ninety-seven percent," said General Alten, Chief of Staff for the Lienese Army. "Combined with the nano-ids that we began using last year, this has the potential to increase the effectiveness of our armed forces."

This is the second major breakthrough to come from BECRC in the last two years, and anonymous sources within the military have said the nano-id (NIDs) may be sold to friendly governments within the next six months.

OOC: pfft, you should see some of the fully bio-engineered soldier modules on the market.
