The Myrtannia Gridball League recently completed its 16th season, enjoying a slow but steady rise in viewership across the United Isles. While still behind football, basketball, indoor lacrose, and baseball, it is growing ever more popular. With the Delesaen idea of an AO (American) Football League, the MGL thought it proper to put up information about Myrtannia's professional league. Currently, the MGL consists of 12 franchises, divided equally into two conferences, the National Gridball Conference and the Myrtannian Gridball Conference. Two more franchises are set to be established for the MGL's 17th season, and will be indicated by being in italics. Here are the franchises that comprise the Myrtannia Gridball League: National Gridball Conference Niniisto Dragons Turku Hurricanes Sayiid Scrub Jays Fergot Waves Halosen Vendetta Damascos Arachnids Ebhoy Fighting Fish Myrtannian Gridball Conference Scandon Island VooDoo Lahar Lutes Gohanda Knights Vanhaanen Panthers Skalatur Sharks Blackheart Privateers Mari City Sea Wolves In addition, the MGL wishes to extend an open invitation to any foreign players who wish to join a Myrtannian club.
