Luther felt the plane turn. At that moment, he knew that something was not right. He walked up to the cockpit, and addressed the pilots. "Uh, what's going on? Why are we headed northwest now?"

The co-pilot turned to Hargrove, with an evil grin. "Well, Mr. Hargrove, apparently you've seen our plan. We're kidnapping you."

Hargrove stepped back in shock. "Really?"

"No, not really. We were contacted by command to fly back to Legalese. Apparently, Sarzonia has not only closed off all diplomatic contacts, but is moving."

"Moving? Where?"

"To another part of the this large world, it seems. Consul Davies wants us back in Legalese City ASAP, then may be sending you to FLMS headquarters to pick up Williamson."

"Why would I be picking up Williamson?"

The pilot kept on looking ahead. "Well, sir, there seems to be a vote going through the Senate..."

For the same time, the Confederacy reaffirms its clear stand:

Mike Sazo kidnapped innocent people and blackmails an entire alliance. This is hostage-taking.

We do not negotiate with terrorists.
We demand that our people are set free immediately and expcect the FLMS as well as the regional council of Atlantian Oceania to speak clear words against this barbaric practices utlized by the despote regime of Sarzonia.

The Lamonian delegate waited until the Latin Federal President finished speaking, stood up and said:

"The Free Republic moves to eject Latao from the FLMS, on the basis of affirming our hope for peaceful negotiations with all nations. We publicly frown on Latao's attempts to LOOK peaceful on the one hand, and escalate the situation on the other. Latao would be allowed to re-enter the FLMS only if they had resolved the situation with Sarzonia peacefully. The FLMS did not ask to be drug into a situation of Latao's own making."

Sitting back down, the Lamonian expected to see some fireworks.

The speaker of the Latin delegation doesn't even stand up...

That's that just cheecky and outragous, we don't dignify that with an answer. There is a rogue state kidnapping our fellow, innocent people into his dark, wet jail-holes, and you refuse support and even want to kick us ?

"We must at this moment object to the Lamonian proposal. We can not let human lives hang in the balance. It is our responsibility to help another member in need, whether or not relations betweem our contires are good or bad. Should Lamoni still feel the need to eject Latao, we propose that this move be made after the resolution of this conflict."

Another important question is the material property owned by the people the regime sent to packing or put in a dark mud-hole.

Does 'crazy Mike' want to confiscate that ?

The feed showing the Latin president brandishing a 9 mm reached Sarzo.

"That son of a bitch has the nerve to threaten military action when our navy can blow his -explicitive removed-hole of a country to pieces without a second thought? When our air force and naval air squadrons can make mincemeat of his military? When we have space superiority," Sarzo said in his private living room at the Gray House.

Sarzo thought carefully about his next actions. Simply returning the citizens was no longer an option. He was being branded a terrorist when it was Latao who was looking the part. He walked to his office in the Gray House and sat down at his desk, drafting a statement. He then walked to the press room in front of television cameras and newspapers from various media outlets throughout Sarzonia.

"Earlier today, the hypocritical regime of Latao was broadcast threatening military action against the Incorporated States of Sarzonia in spite of the fact their citizens were lawfully detained when they did not leave the country in a timely manner as we had insisted. The detainees are being treated in accordance with international guidelines for the treatment of foreign nationals detained for such purposes.

"Today, the Latin government has seen fit to brand us as terrorists for the legal detaining of citizens who were given ample time to depart the country at our own expense, but who chose to ignore our government's calls for their safe departure. Now, Latao has chosen not to negotiate and has chosen instead to threaten military action. We take all such threats against the Incorporated States seriously. I have ordered the full mobilisation of the Ready Reserves and have ordered the Second and Fourth Fleets to steam toward Latao to show the flag. I have also mobilised the First, Second, and Third Incorporated Armies for the defence of Sarzonia in the event Latao chooses to attack our homes.

"We would like to remind the Latin government that any acts of war on their part shall be met with full and immediate reprisal by our military. As one of the region's former naval superpowers, we question their wisdom in provoking us.

"This diplomatic situation could have, no would have been averted had their government simply called on their own citizens to leave Sarzonia within that 72 hour period. However, they refused to do so, and their citizens that remained past the cutoff period are lawfully considered to have trespassed on Sarzonian soverign territory. It is a situation of Latao's own creation by refusing to see their actions in imposing an entrance fee for what they are: Racist, bigoted, and hypocritical.

"We have also announced that Latao shall officially be considered Unfriendly by the Office of External Affairs. As a result, all legal trade avenues with Latao are henceforth under suspension. If the Latin government chooses to abolish their admission fees, we will release the detainees into Chacoran custody until such time as their government can pick up their citizens.

"The ball is squarely in Latao's court. As far as mediation is concerned, the ISG will not accept mediation from anyone allied to Latao, Sarzonia, or their respective rival countries. We insist on full assurances that any country that offers to mediate this dispute will not do so with bias toward either side and upon the condition that such arbitration is not binding."

After intensive discussions held internally in the Latin curia (house of government) the leaders came to the point, that Sarzonia is a nation too large and we will therefore comply with the imperial bastards…

Nadia Pumia, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Latao

After verifying the situation carefully, we want to send the following message to the Incorporated States of Satan…Sarzonia I mean:

As we have always stated, that we are a civilized peace-loving race, who would never put innocent people into prison, because it was not possible for them to leave a foreign country within an extremely short time frame, we offer to abandon our intention to put citizens of the incorporated states of Sarzonia under the duty of an entry deposit as collateral for they stays inside the Confederacy of Latao, once they agree to release at least women and children from their hostage.

In case, the leaders of the Incorporated States of Sarzonia are willing to also release the remaining cirizens of the Latin Confederacy of Latao – which includes to allow them to continue their stay in Sarzonia (under the visa & residence conditions they had before) and returning their property to them, the Latin Confederacy shall explain the deposit-system as void.

We address this offer directly to the nation of Sarzonia, as the FLMS has failed in disgrace. It will be another political act to discuss this topic.

Once again, we point out, that the regime of Sarzonia has shown its real face during the last weeks - May the lord judge them…

George looked at King Falcon II: "Fried Falcon? Interesting. Is it regular, or extra crispy?"

We don't know if we can celebrate the break through yet, a member of the Latin delegation said.

"Please don't try and make war over a misplaced comment. I have 25,000 men waiting in a network of planes, boats and helicopters that could be here anytime in the next 5 minutes, led by my trusted friend and head of my entire armed forces. Now, would you like some falcon?"
