The KFA today pledged its support for the Bettian AOCAF bid after much deliberation.

"The two bids are very similar, and very difficult to choose between. However, the plane trips to Bettia will be shorter and cheaper."

The contest, between Bettia and The Lowland Clans, is expected to go down to the wire.

The LFA voted today for The Lowland Clans to host AOCAFXI.

"Out of the two very competitive bids, we feel that TLC's bid is the better one of the two. We had an agonizing time attempting to choose between the two bids, but it was felt that the TLC bid had something that the Bettian bid lacked. No disrespect to Bettia is intended, of course."

The LFA also expects the competition between Bettia and TLC to go down to the wire.

With no disrespect made to Bettia, ASMV has voted for The Lowland Clans bid to host AOCAFXI. Both bids were well made and either would be a great event. After pondering the decision, it came down to the Official Coin Toss.

The Starblaydi Football Association is still deciding between the two bids, though now realises they should have closed the topic to make it vote-only to keep the rest of the idiots from declaring who they voted for in some odd show of international affection.

The FFA confidently sticks two fingers up to conformity and openly votes for TLC.

Posted by: Milchama Nov 14 2005, 04:46 PM
Milchama has decided after barely reading the bids to not vote for our rivals from the Lowland Clans. Thus we are forced to vote for Bettia

*quotes very loudly* Aslo, dumb question, but I'm assuming hosts are not allowed to vote?

Of course you're allowed to vote for yourself

Sometimes it's the only vote bidders get tongue.gif

Ahh, a good laugh., in that case, add one vote for myself, I accidentally pressed view results whne I first browsed the page.

The DFA completely disregards it's right to vote, on the basis that it believes that rosters are being over emphasised in their importance in both bids, somehting we've never been an advocate of (as you can probably tell by the plain-looking things we put out every time.)

OK, that was I lie. I did vote really. But I'm not exactly going to tell you who for, am I?

After much deliberation, the chairman of the FAB has elected to make himself a nice cup of tea. Does anyone want a choccy biccie while I'm up?

Posted by: Krytenia Nov 15 2005, 11:18 AM
The KFA requests a chocolate Hob-Nob.

Moon on a stick comes with no choccy, so no. We just want a choccy Hob-Nob.

Commander Michael Hack wishes it to be known that with enough chocolate and a very big gun, it could theoretically be possible to coat the moon in chocolate.

Which would become encased in ice as soon as the coldness of space drove off the heat that would have to be applied to the chocolate in order for it to reach the moon and coat it. wink.gif

It'll have to be eaten in several sittings. Perhaps as many as six.

Posted by: Spruitland Nov 17 2005, 07:08 AM
And remember to brush your teeth between sittings.
