With eight rinks, all eight will be placed in a single pool and will play each other once during the round-robin for a total of at least seven (7) draws per rink. There will be one draw per day from the 18th to the 24th. At the conclusion of the round-robin there will be one day off; following that break day, the Page playoff will commence.

Roster posting procedure Please list your skip (team captain) in bold, either with or without vital statistics. Following that you should list a lead, second, third and an alternate. The alternates only participate in the event one of the main foursome cannot play in a draw. You should also list their home curling club and in which city, town, etc. that club is located.
Extra resources The Wikipedia article on curling is actually quite well done and informative. I recommend it for a basic knowledge of curling. You can also refer to past AOCC RP threads if you are unsure on the stylistic / diction aspects of writing a curling draw report.
Mathematical aspects
Formula that will be used =(Point value/1)1.16 + RP Bonus + Average of your playing style
Playing styles ** Take-out - that being your strategy is simply to knock the opponent's rocks with no care for how your rocks are thrown or placed. Result: Closer score ** Neutral - normal curling. Placing rocks in strategic points but also using rocks just to take out an opponent's, regardless of whether it sticks on the house. Result: Average 2 to 3 point win or loss ** Strategic - defensive play, and purely playing strategically, using rocks only to score and not to "attack" as in the take-out style. Result: Average 2 to 5 point win or loss
Each team will get "points" to spend. You can divide your points -- in this tournament everyone will get six -- among the three playing styles. If you want a fully attacking style for your team, you would choose 4-2-0 (Take-Out/Neutral/Strategic), 5-1-0 or 6-0-0. If you want a balanced attack, you would choose 3-3-0, 3-2-1 or 2-2-2. A more defensive style of play would use a 0-2-4 to 0-0-6 point distribution. Then, your point distribution will be averaged and placed in the scorination formula.
RP bonus
** Good RP - 5 points ** Average RP - 3 points ** Not so good RP - 1 point ** No RP - 0 points
I will also be giving bonus if you RP. A good RP constitutes not just length (though that is a sign of effort in most cases) but also effective writing. A poor RP is something like "The Losers lost today 3-0. Big surprise. Next game is versus the Winners on Thursday." You'll get the point, but you definitely won't get five.

RP cutoff for Draw 1 is:
March 18 at 10:00pm PDT (Mar. 19 @ 1:00am EDT / 5:00am GMT)
Please note that, for your first post, you must have at least posted a roster to receive any RP bonus both here and subsequently. The roster may be included in your post (such as how Sarz did it). Any RPs extraneous to the roster post can also help your bonus if you don't receive the full 5 points for your original post.
EDIT: To clarify, if you don't post a roster in this RP period, it doesn't preclude from receiving an RP bonus for the rest of the tournament. I just mean that in an overall sense; you cannot receive RP bonus until you post a roster.
