The Sarzonian national team announced that for the first time in their football team's history, they would send a second Stars team to compete internationally. They have named David Bostwick, the runner up for the head coaching job of the Stars that went to the late Bryan Marshall, the head coach for the Stars so-called "B" team. Bostwick recently served as the head coach of the Woodstock Wild as the team captured the fourth SFC title in seven seasons of the league's existence, beating the Portland Timbers.

He will be assisted by former Stars players Bryson Juergens and Kerry Tanner.

Bostwick announced the team's roster for the AOCAF tournament (OOC: As usual, starters in BOLD):

GOALKEEPERS
18 John Bartlett (Nicksia Knights): This 28 year old just signed with the Knights after he fell through the cracks of the recruitment system of the SFC. In less than two months with the team, he earned the starting position and has led the Knights to their most successful season in history.
22 Marco Taglianetti (Randolph Reavers): Just acquired from the Saugerties Snakes, this 24 year old was lost in the shuffle in the goalkeeper situation for the Snakes. He has a lot of upside, including some of the best atheticism of any Sarzonian goalkeeper, but little experience.

DEFENDERS
14 Brian Henderson (Saugerties): This left halfback is often the player designated to mark the opposing team's best strikers. He has limited foot speed, but has great quickness and can anticipate through balls better than any other Sarzonian. He turned 29 last month.
17 Carlos Escandela (Portland Timbers): Had a hard time breaking into the Timbers' starting 11 due to the team's success, but didn't miss a beat when pressed into service at striker. Plays better as one of two central defenders, however. Turns 27 years old tomorrow.
21 Trevor Crenshaw (Woodstock Wild): The right fullback for the four time champion Wild has been a shocking omission from national team play in the past. With Bostwick coaching, this 26 year old is expected to star for the team.
23 Harry Epstein (New Jerusalem Nobles): A right halfback with offensive skills of an attacking midfielder, he has improved his previously weak defense to be at least respectable at the position. May push up in the event the team is trailing late. Thirty years old.
7 Rod Taylor (Carthage Cannons): Taylor is one of the steadiest defenders the team has, and has helped the team to the lowest goals against of any team in the SFC. Unfortunately, the team's anemic offense kept the team out of the playoffs. Turned 29 last week.
31 Mark Bender (Nicksia): Plays sweeper for the Knights, but in a 4-4-2 formation, he's often relegated to the bench. If the Stars switch to a 3-5-2, he can step into the starting 11. Thirty one years old.
34 Antonio Marino (Wilmington Warhawks): Can play either defense or defensive midfielder for the Warhawks, but this 28 year old is better as a defender.

MIDFIELDERS
12 Loren Butler (Carthage): Is often the player the Cannons ask to shut down opposing playmakers. During the league's All Star Game, the coaches there had him perform the same role. At 32 years old, he's still the best player at that role in the league.
19 John De la Rocca (Randolph Reavers): He is one of the most dangerous left-sided players in the Sarzonian national league, and is second only to Darwin Russell for the best shot among all Sarzonian-born internationals. At 23 years old, still has a lot of potential ahead of him.
37 "Dix" Porter (Portland): Just signed with the Timbers, is the heir apparent for the role as offensive playmaker. Spent a lot of time with Bobby Convey's dad to work on his skills. At 25 years old, may be playing for a spot on the senior national team.
6 Darrell Bennett (Woodstock): Has been clocked with the fastest shot in the league at 125 km/hr. Accuracy may be a problem for him, and sometimes doesn't run balls down hard enough for the coaches. Otherwise, he'd have been a shoo in for the senior team. At 21 years old, the coaches hope they can mold him into a senior team player.
77 Casey Bronson (Wilmington): Can play either flank midfield position well, but often tries to get too fancy if he's the playmaking midfielder. The 27 year old will only assume Porter's spot in a dire emergency.
8 Rene Almejo (New Jerusalem): This 29 year old has scored some goals from free kicks with his educated right boot, but is too lackadasical on defense for the Stars coaches to risk putting him in the starting 11.

FORWARDS
13 Anton Gregor (Daurmont, Isselmere-Nieland): Withdrawn forward who is trying to come back from an ACL injury. He was left off the senior national team as a precaution, but he is expected to be the leader of the AOCAF team. Just turned 29 years old. Team captain
32 Bruce Badger (Randolph): A supersub with his club team, Badger is trying to establish himself as being capable of earning a full-time starting position at striker. Able to add some scoring punch in a pressure situation. Just turned 28.
46 John Clinton (Under 21 national team): Clinton didn't sign with any team prior to the AOCAF tournament. He helped lead the Under 21 national team to a second place finish that saved his coach's job. Just turned 21.
10 Kevin Wilson (Joe Gibbs University): The younger son of senior team Coach Dave Wilson and the younger brother of team captain Brian, Kevin shares his brother's instincts on the pitch and may be even more of a heartthrob than his older brother. At 18 years old, may be a couple of years away from a permanent spot on either national team.
