Request For Annexation

The Incorporated States of Sarzonia hereby requests the annexation of the two islands to the southwest of Sarzonia and the one island to the southeast of Sarzonia. We believe that as our population continues to grow steadily, our supply of natural resources, including space, arable farmland, and forests will decline, thus reducing the quality of life for all Sarzonians.

In addition, we believe that if a foreign power acquires those three islands, they would pose a military threat to Sarzonia, as each of the three islands could then be used as bases of operations to launch an invasion. We seek to prevent such use by a potentially hostile power.

Krytenia has no qualms about this prposed annexation, however as Sarzonia's nearest overseas neighbour, we are concerned about your reference to "a foreign power using these as a base for an invasion."

Rest assured, the People's Republic is a peaceful nation, and any land we request to annex would be neutral, and never imposing on or towards another nation's territory.
