I am currently in the process of setting up an Expansion RP under the thread "A Small Problem", in which I plan to hopefully move the Khazaronian border further east across the island I am on. I was also thinking about having my men set up a puppet government, due to my nation's actions in "Latao Conflict", in what used to be southern Latao, if that would be ok with everyone else. If there are any objections, please post them here or message me. Thanks.

If you mean an actual NS-registered nation that would occupy a bit of Latao's former territory I think that would be a fairly useless idea, as the last thing we need in AO is another puppet of a nation that's already here (noting Turori, Nova Britannicus, Pedriana, Rendition and Diamondokere as the evil participants in that scheme)

An RPed control of that territory in a Cold War Berlin style would be better - Perhaps keeping Latao's territory as a little reserved space of its own until we as a region can think of something better to do with it.

That does sound like a better solution to the 'Latao' problem than making colonies. I was going to state my intention to have a colony there as well, until now.

My idea is to have a wartorn eastern Latao in which a continuous sort of battle would be fought....the occupying force, the radical rebel movement, the Osmec-supported faction, a peaceful party looking for a peaceful solution, maybe even a freedom movement in Nyssa, and ofcourse, a faction in support of the Nedalian occupation.

Hence the swallowing of Nova Mercia...

Sounds good Star. Probably wouldn't be logistically feasible for my guys to try and hold onto a piece of land clear across the region anyhow. I'll just RP and occupation government until the region decides to do something else with the area.

But in regards to my expansion eastwards, on my home island, are their any objections to that?

Go for it, really.

My only objections to expansion or for relatively-new nations who don't post anything other than "we'd like to expand". That and if its by Lamoni wink.gif But as you've invaded Latao and are running a coronation thread, I think that qualifies quite nicely.

Sweet, still I wouldn't feel right if I didn't post something on my guys moving into the area. Plus, I had an idea for a little something to spice up the attempted expansion. Porbably will wait till Latao is done and deep-fried before starting that up though. Err, that is in reference to my expansion eastwards. Latao will just be held as an occupation government thing until someone wants to use the land again.

As discussed with Vilita on IRC, the UCSCH have brought their existing region to Atlantian Oceania. The new land [425 KB] (by “Bedistan,” the map creators mean Tingitana, of course—and by “Omni Bee,” Commerce Heights wink.gif ) should be placed on the eastern edge of the map (preferrably about ¾ of the way down, with a lot of resizing!). Some non-Capitalizt land will necessarily appear on the section of the map shown—this land is neither part of CH nor AO, but is in the now-adjacent region Terranordalis, and should be grayed out or something.
