I should have posted this at the top, but the Scores thread is for the host ONLY. Other posts do not belong in the thread.

If it happens again, you'll be penalised.

AO BOWL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

#1 Space Union 20, #2 Legalese 19

Congratulations to the winners and thanks to all for participating!

The "RP Bonus" will be as follows:

Space Union will get five points for winning the championship and five points for RPing in the tournament. Legalese will get four points for being the runners up. Semifinalists will get three points plus Bedistan gets five points for RPing. Wild card round participants will get two points plus Milchama gets five points for RPing. Everyone else gets one point for participation and those who RP'd get five points for RP bonus. So Space Union gets to distribute 10 additional points to offence and defence, etc.

I'd like to ask what participants thought of the AO Bowl in general and various matters in particular. I'd like to propose a cap of 100 points on either offence or defence to prevent outlandish scores like 76-70 or 3-0 from being all but guaranteed.

I agree with the 100 point cap idea. It would make things fairer for everyone.

I actually liked the current layout. 100 points seems to be a bit too low. 150-175 is the best I think, honestly.

No, what he means is out of 175 you can go as high as 100-75 for offence or 100-75 for defence. Not 100 points total.

Oh, okay. Yeah I actually like that scheme. smile.gif
