It was a neck and neck race for first between Vanguard and Sunnyslope. Sunnyslope lost it on a critical loss to Waterloo United in their second to last match. Here is a run down of each team.

Vanguard Eagles
Early on the Eagles looked like the top team in Fmjphoenix. Match 5 saw them take their first defeat to Sunnyslope 5-1. In fact, Sunnyslope was the only team the Eagles could not defeat, falling 1-0 at Pogostick Park. But they caught a lucky break by finishing the season with two wins and finished one point ahead of Sunnyslope. Christian Macia lead the Eagles with 15 goals scored and was 3rd in the league.

Sunnyslope FC
Actually had the most wins in the league, but fell just short of taking the championship. They did not lose a match until their 9th against Ariot, the suprise of the series. But it was their 13th match that ruined their chances. They were in first until they lost against Waterloo United. Segio Bustos lead SFC with 17 goals and was 2nd in the league.

Ariot Lupes
Highest scoring team in the league. Was not expected to be a top team. More of a testament to good teamwork and never say die attitude. Lost 4 of first 5 matches before going on a tear. Handed Sunnyslope their first loss. Kristen Xavior lead Ariot with 13 goals and was 5th in the league.

RFC Vrelt
Did not get their second win until their 8th match. Julio Matengo fro Vilita fit in well in their defensive formation and was a top factor in their second half comback. Biggest upset was their victory over Ariot. Gaston Durst lead Vrelt with 14 goals and was 4th in the league.

Spraat FC
Finished in the middle of the pack. Has young players that need to develop to do better. Could have finished better, but fell in last two matches. They are expected to move up within the next three seasons. Restiaa Rlain lead Spraat with 11 goals and was 6th in the league.

Waterloo United
Most disappointing squad in season 1. Expected to be a top 3 team and fell. Defeated Vanguard and Sunnyslope. Expected to rebound from the disaster that was season 1. Tiffany Lapp lead Waterloo with 18 goals and was 1st in the league.

Alabaster Lions
Despite being the lowest scoring team, the did manage to hand Sunnyslope their second lost and scored 6 goals against Ariot. Not very strong, but when they are clicking, they can be tough to stop. Nat Owens lead Ariot with 8 goals and was 10th in the league.

Caribu FC
Last place team in season 1. Was coached by their team captian as noone wanted to take over the team. They are looking for someone to take over. Despite their last place finish, they upset Vanguard 3-0 in match 11. Sunry Jolee lead Caribu with 10 goals and was tied for 7th in the league.
