The bombers veered off to resume their course homeward as bombs fell on the Olympic complexes and buildings. Not even the rowing lake was spared. The bombs were not inteded to cause massive harm, and only damaged the buildings enough to discontinue their use. Casualties were intended to be low. |

Fresh from the Coxless Pair's Gold-Medal Victory, the Starblaydi Coxless Fours eased their way through a light on-water training session as the air above was filled with the sound of engines. The four powerfully-built men halted their strokes and looked up.
"Pakos?" asked the man in the stern, "What is that?"
"Justa flight of planes, Kostas."
"But what about that whistling..."
Kostas Psomiadis didn't get to finish his question as his voice was drowned out by a set of explosions in the totally-empty stands. One bomb hit the water across from them, the blast and subsquent waves capsizing and sinking their four-man boat.
As their heads broke the water, a scene of mild destruction greeted them. Some of the grandstands had been knocked down with rubble falling into the pure blue water. The boathouses and other surrounding buildings were also in various states of disrepair, some on fire.
"What the hell is going on?" yelled Anastasis Tzatsis, the big third man
"I don't know," replied Pakos, "but someone's gonna get their ass kicked for this." |

While preparing for an upcoming event, the Ainorpispan gymnastics team, along with two other Ainorpispan athletes, had been in an event center when the bombers first appeared. Since none of them were near a window, none of them had any idea about the sudden attack. It was a good thing too, considering what was about to happen. One moment, the team and two friends were simpy chatting casually, the next, the building exploded all around them. Shrieks of terror filled the building as the building began to fall apart.
Once the rubble had stopped falling, judo competitor Marlin Craib, one of the seven Pispan athletes that had been inside, could hear the bombers flying off. Wide-eyed in fear, he began searching the ruins of the building around him for his countrymen and women. What he found was appalling - all of them, including the team's coaches, were dead. Confusion turned to anger, as Craib stood and thrust a fist into the sky out of his fury.
"What was that for? What'd we do to you?" he demanded, though there would be no one to answer his tormented scowl. The event building hadn't been hit especially hard, just in the right spots to cause the roof to collapse in a few places.. |

As the Pedrian football team's plane (one of very few in Pedriana, which is an extremely poor nation) approached the Olympic complex at Avid-Diord on the way back from a World Cup qualifier in Rejistania, they saw that something was decidedly amiss. For one thing, the practice fields were blackened and charred, with many of the surrounding buildings still on fire. The complex was deserted apart from what appeared to be a few Starblaydi athletes floating in the river.
"Ah ****," the pilot remarked. "I don't think we're gonna be having any more AOlympics around here. We'll just head on back home." And with that, he made a northerly turn toward Abattoir, the Vilitan islands, and ultimately Pedriana. |

As the Xilean bombers were overhead, the entire Lamoni Aolympic delegation was in thier designated building, holding religious services. Two bombs hit and destroyed the building, killing the entire Lamoni Aolympic delegation. |
